What if the thing you’re trying to hide in English is actually part of your power?
In this episode, I’m exploring the fear of being too much. Too loud, too direct, too emotional, too expressive, too visible, too accented. So many women don’t just worry about making mistakes in English. They worry about how much of themselves comes through.
We look at how this fear can make you reduce your voice, flatten your tone, soften your sentences and try to sound neutral. But when you reduce your voice to make other people comfortable, you also reduce your impact. Your accent, your rhythm, your emotion and your way of speaking are not problems to manage. They carry history, culture, intelligence and depth.
This episode is about choosing clarity without erasure. It is about speaking more clearly, yes, but while coming closer to yourself, not further away. Because your voice is not too much. Your accent is not too strong. And the point is not to sound like someone else. The point is to finally sound like you.
