The podcast where two cousins who love to read and talk about books read books and talk about them. Have you ever looked at a book and wondered if you should give it a try, or maybe just skip it? Have you ever wondered what the best rating system should be for books? Have you ever read a book and loved it so much and wanted to talk about it after but nobody else had read it so you try to make your friends read it and you even loan them your copy but then a year later when you ask about it they just return it without saying anything and you both avoid eye contact for a while? If so, welcome.Sam and Nick

Welcome to the Good Book? Podcast! New episodes will be dropping weekly.

Our full list for this season is as follows:

    1. Godmother Night by Rachel Pollack

    2. Silver Street by E. Richard Johnson

    3. The Gods Themselves by Isaac Asimov

    4. Nifft the Lean by Michael Shea

    5. Babel 17 by Samuel R. Delany

    6. Hyperion by Dan Simmons

    7. Crisis Zone by Simon Hanselmann

    8. Stand on Zanzibar by John Brunner

    9. Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh

    10. Perdido Street Station by China Mieville

As we mention in this episode, some of the books we read this season are no longer in print. As promised, here are our recommendations for where to find them:

Godmother Night: Kindle is the cheapest option, but also available at a reasonable price in hardcover (https://a.co/d/0dAf9Nj9) or as an audiobook.

Nifft the Lean: this is a tougher one to find at a reasonable price. Best bet would be your library. After that, try looking for “non-traditional” websites online that offer ebooks (that’s what I did).

Silver Street: Paperback is readily available online.

    Happy reading!
