• Hey everyone! It’s Rossy from Nogata!
• I watched the Japanese movie Drive My Car. It stars Hidetoshi Nishijima, with Masaki Okada and Reika Kirishima, and was directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi.
• I also heard that the film All of a Sudden (Kyū ni Guai ga Waruku Naru) won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival, so I’m hoping to go see it sometime soon.
• And while we’re on the subject of movies, I finally properly watched Harry Potter for the first time! So Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is actually the first movie in the series. I’d been to Universal Studios Japan twice and had even been on the Harry Potter ride recently, but somehow I’d never actually sat down and watched the movie until now.
• Moto suggested that we hold an open mic at Nanimonai Basho in Koenji on Tuesday, August 4, so we decided to make it happen. Ironically, Moto himself ended up not being able to make it!
• My next stand-up performance will be on Monday, August 10, at an open mic near TCB in Shibuya.
• After that, I’ll be doing English stand-up at Koenji DEN on Wednesday, August 12. It’s been a while since I last performed comedy in English, so I’m a little nervous!
• Then, on Monday, August 17, I’ll be performing at an open mic hosted by Hiroshi Shimizu at Gakuya in Shimokitazawa.
• And finally, on Thursday, August 27, I’m planning to host my own stand-up comedy event at Nanimonai Basho in Koenji!

・日本映画「ドライブ・マイ・カー」みました。西島秀俊さん主演、岡田将生さん霧島れいかさん出演で濱口竜介監督の作品のようです

・「急に具合が悪くなる」という作品がカンヌ映画祭で最優秀女優賞を獲得したとのことで、近々見に行きたいと思っています

・ちなみに重ねてアレですが、実はこれまでちゃんと見てこなかった「ハリー・ポッター」を初めてちゃんと見ました。「賢者の石」というのが1作目なんですね

。これまでUSJも2回行ったし、先日ライドにも載ったのに、実は映画は最近見たという。原宿・明治通り交差点にあるハリー・ポッターショップに友人の中国人とそのお母さんと一緒に行ってきたのを機に行った感じです

・8月4日の火曜日に高円寺の「なにもない場所」でオープンマイクをやりたいとMotoさんから提案があり、実施が決まったのですが結局Motoさんが来れず、

Ryoさん、たけたけさん、つぐみちゃん、マダム静香さん、アレックス、Hirokiさん、まんぞうさん、高円寺のHiroさんがご登場いただいたようです。ありがとうございます！ 自分が出れなくてごめんなさい

・次のスタンダップは8月10日（月）、渋谷TCB近くで行われるオープンマイクに出演予定です

・次は8月12日（水）に高円寺DENで行われる英語スタンダップです。英語でコメディをするのは久しぶりなのでちょっと緊張します

　→ 毎週木曜日に大塚TITANSで英語コメディがあるので、そちらもそのうち復帰したいと思っています。英語文化に慣れるためにも、今後参加していきたいと思っています

・その次は8月17日（月）に下北沢Gakuyaで行われる清水宏さん主催のオープンマイクに出ます

・そして高円寺は8月27日（木）に「なにもない場所」にて私主催のスタンダップイベントを開催する予定です

• Along with my name change, I’ve decided to rename the podcast as well.
• It’s been a while since the last episode, but I still performed at stand-up comedy events in both June and July.
• I’m planning to keep challenging myself with stand-up comedy in August as well, with shows in Koenji and Shimokitazawa.
• Lately I’ve started wondering whether my love of improvisation can really coexist with my admiration for Hikari Ota’s style of comedy and Hitoshi Matsumoto’s style of comedy. It made me question whether those ideas can truly exist side by side.
• Either way, I love comedy. So from now on, I’ve decided to put more effort into writing proper scripts and developing them into well-crafted stand-up routines.
• I’ll continue doing this radio show in an improvised style, because I think both improvisation and scripted performances have their own strengths. At the same time, I’ve realized that I don’t yet have the level of comedic skill needed to consistently get laughs through improvisation alone.

・改名にともなって番組名も変えることになりました

・久しぶりの収録だけど、6月も7月もスタンダップコメディイベントはやりました

・8月も高円寺と下北沢でスタンダップコメディに挑戦しようと思います

・「アドリブが好き」という気持ちと、「太田光さんの笑いが好き」「松本人志さんの笑いが好き」が並列で成り立たない？のかとという気持ちになりました

・いずれにしても、笑いは好きなので、今後はちゃんと台本を作って、きちんとしたネタとしてやっていくことを考えることにしました

・ラジオは引き続きアドリブだけど、きっとアドリブの良さと台本の良さ、どちらもあるんだと思います。自分はアドリブで笑いを取れるほどの笑い力はないということを痛感しました

・英語スタンドアップ、大塚で4回やりました。錦糸町でもあるらしいけど、さすがに遠いので、、そちらはそのうちかな。

・そういえば4月も高円寺で日本語スタンダップイベント開催しました！

　→ 5月は11日（月）に下北沢で、12日（火）に一回、それから5月28日（木）に日本語スタンダップやりますよ

・音楽ライブはそういえばその後予定がないな…またスカやパンクやメタルが見たい気もする。そういえばシアトルのグランジ・ロックについての映画「Hype！」は見た。なんと言えばいいものかだけど。

・日本語おしゃべり会、5月19日（火）開催します

・I’ve done English stand-up in Otsuka four times. Apparently there’s also a show in Kinshicho, but honestly, that’s pretty far, so maybe I’ll try that one someday.

・Oh, and I also held a Japanese stand-up event in Koenji in April!→ In May, I’ll do Japanese stand-up in Shimokitazawa on Monday the 11th, another one on Tuesday the 12th, and then another Japanese stand-up event on Thursday, May 28th.

・Come to think of it, I don’t have any live music shows planned after that… I kind of feel like seeing ska, punk, or metal again. By the way, I watched Hype!, the movie about Seattle grunge rock. I’m not really sure how to describe it, though.

・The Japanese conversation meetup will be held on Tuesday, May 19th.
