Loved it so much!

Ann Bennett is officially one of my very favourite authors. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of her books an be truly wished there were more of her titles available.
This book was spellbinding. My own Opa was a pow and it brought his story to life for me.

Very Gripping

I read this with interest, partly as an insight into my father's similar experiences. Well written and gripping. Spoilt to an extent by the narrator - slightly whiney, with strange inflections which detracted rather than contributed.
