Amelia…

So, there were many things I could have done differently.

I could have gone on a cruise and forgotten about stealing a killer box from a Vampire King.

I could have shaved my head and become a Tibetan monk.

I could have also lost my virginity to some nice Texas cowboy who wanted to introduce me to his mother.

But instead, I went to Germany and ended up fighting Mercenaries.

I also fell in love with a Vampire King who claimed me as his.

And now I’m in the river and all because I decided not to just stay home and do my laundry.

No, instead...I shot a pilot.

Really struggling to finish this... Grow a backbone Amelia!

I have always enjoyed Lucius. I get that he’s 100% alpha...but Amelia is a doormat 97% of the time and the helpless, childish act is getting very old. I have 3 hours left in the book and don’t know that I plan to read or listen to the 4th/5th in the series. I keep hoping she’ll grow but not looking promising. Based on reviews for books 4/5 (not yet avail on Audible), sounds like more of the same. I need characters that grow and develop. Amelia is supposedly 27 y/o, but I’ve seen 15 year olds that act with more maturity. Why fight so hard to make your own way in life only to cave 5 minutes after you got a “boyfriend “? At this point, she deserves whatever life choices Lucius has decided for her. Control freak Vampire King finds perfect doormat. When the sex fog wears off, she’s going to look around and regret it. Oopsie...
I’d recommend Amelia Hutchins books if you need a female that evolves and grows into a bada$$. This series won’t do it for you!
Narrator does a good job. Gave her 4 stars. Thx

love love love it

Stephanie Hudson has done it again. The story of Lucius and Amelia is fantastic. I am so happy that they have finally gotten together and I can't wait to see what Dominic Draven does when he finds out lol. Now we know what a tuff lady Keria is let's see how her daughter comes through her trials and tribulations to be with Lucius. Thank you Stephanie

Disappointed & Bored

I read and the Afterlife books and was excited for this series. The first book was as good as the original series and I was excited to keep reading. The second book wasn’t as great but it was better than many books out there. There wasn’t too much that felt like filler (other than recaps of stuff from the Afterlife series and a few things from the first Transfusion book from Lucius’ perspective - but those were ok and the info needed to be communicated). However, in this book, the sex as filler because the writer didn’t have enough to fill the minimum page requirement is obvious and made this one boring. There were basically five things that happened in this book, the rest of it is just sex. I’m not against any sex, and there was even one sex scene that added to the story, but there is a point where an author is just using it as a crutch to increase word count because she can’t come up with plot points or action. This book also has a lot of repetitive dialogue that doesn’t actually make huge leaps in story development. This author doesn’t usually do this, so I’m guessing she had writers block and just didn’t know how else to make her deadline??? I hope the series improves again! I actually zoned out and didn’t pay full attention to much of this book because it was frequently boring.

Performance was fine.

I really hate it when a series isn't complete. She just leaves you hanging in the wind.

Great series

I love this series! Great storyline, I have yet to zone out or get bored. The narrator has a slight lisp, and it's a bit distracting at times but the story itself makes up for it.

Too much

Altogether far too much highly descriptive sex in this book. At a guess, I'd say roughly 60% nothing but sex scenes. Also, far too much completely unnecessary extreme bad language. So disappointed with this book. Please cut out at least half of the above and let's have more story in future.

Don't bother

If your expecting this to be as good as the other books in the series forget it ..
Very little other than sexual content, I found it very tedious,
