The book sounds more complete than the movie
I watched the movie and loved it. Wanted to read the book and loved it even more. It breaks your heart many more times than the movie and the book's story is slightly longer than what was shown in the movie. The fact that Armie Hammer read it, added to the effect for people who have watched the movie.

WOW!
It was weird at first to hear Elio's feelings in Oliver's voice but then I imagined it as Oliver was reading Elio's diary! loved every second of it

Mesmerizing
At first I was sad that Timothee Chalamet (who played Elio in the movie) wasn't narrating the story which is entirely from Elio's POV. But soon I realized that Armie Hammer was the perfect choice to read the book.
His deep voice is made for an intimate story such as this!

Just what you need.
I loved watching the movie, it was simple with incredible on and off screen performances. From the background music to direction I loved it all.
This audiobook truly did justice to the expectations of the audience who wanted some more part of Elio and Oliver's lives.
