What did you love best about Captivating?
This is not just for women, husband please discover some of the world changing factors on women and why we are so attack. How to come out of the cycle of not feeling like we're good enough or we are just too much.
This audio/book dramatically changed my view point. Audio was good for me because I had to get through the first few chapter, but chapter 6 had me captured and in tears.
I a Christian women who has been walking with God since I was 16, a soldier in the United States military and I never saw my brokensss until I listen to this audio.
I have since order all the bible study material because I feel this is a message every women and man needs to hear.
I did not know that I had fears and wounds that dictated how I presented myself until I realized what those wounds and fears were.
I didn't even know I was broken.

From a man's perspective
The book Fathered by God was so good that I had to read Captivating to see God's perspective on women. It really opened my eyes to how beautiful A woman is and what her beauty is supposed to look like. Both this book, Captivating, and the men's book, Fathered by God, are worth a lifetime of study.

It's There
i'm a husband that ready to better understand his wife and daughters. I Believe the book is a great resource for women. I have read wild at heart many times and has a great impact on my masculinity in my family.

Captivating
I listened to this book with great difficulty. All that mankind has done to belittle, assault, and denagrate women. . . and the author's answer? "The devil made me do it." It isn't man's fault that he has killed, enslaved, and maimed women since the beginning of most religions. It is the devil. Don't bother with this book.

Loved it!
Loved it sooo much, and loved the dynamic between John and Staci in this audio book. I'm driving across the country from east coast to west coast solo and this has spoken deeply to me through the different sceneries on the road. Thank you, this isn't the last time I'll listen/read this book.

Awesome!
What did you love best about Captivating?
I was left with a wonderful feeling of love-that I was loved -by Jesus, and no matter what, He loves me. So much love, warmth, and healing radiates from this book. I am going to listen to it again to allow more of the words and wisdom to "permeate my being"! I am not meaning to sound like a "new age guru", but this is a really positive book to listen to -well worth the time and money invested!!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved listening to the personal experiences Stack shared.
What does John Eldredge and Stasi Eldredge bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
They are both wonderful narrators, and bring a tremendous sense of realism and warmth!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to listen all at once, but do to time, I did take some breaks! I did listen to it all in one day, though, and will hopefully do the same again today!!!

Riveting, richly informative and truly inspiring
I was really excited to read the feminine version of this series, having read "Wild at heart". The majority of my expectations were met! John and Stacey are amazing story tellers and communicators. The message of the book rings true - can't recommend it more highly!

Enlightening and invigorating
I read or half read this book many years ago and i just wasn't ready to receive 'it'. I was clearly living in fear of ....... What? Myself I think.
Now I feel inspired and invigorated, enlightened and alive.
I have suffered in life and I am still suffering but I am here and I know I also have a story and a voice that God Himself has given me to share with others in a small attempt to possibly support, encourage and empower women and men as you have done, even in a small way.
And also to continue the work God is doing in me and always has even when I feel utterly beaten.
Thank you John and Stasi. God bless you in all you do and who you are.

Truly captivating!
Listening to the wisdom poured out in this book supports healing and growth for women. Identity is the key issue today. It was great to hear restorative truth, who God says I am within its pages.

Great premise but falls a little short
Not every female aspires to be a princess waiting to be rescued or saved. So that’s where this one was amiss for me. Only got to chapter 3, fast forwarded most if it til then. Also, there are a few cultural references particularly to Native American princess that is a little out of touch for this day and age. The Disney princesses narrative throughout this book leaves out a lot of women of color & Indigenous & Native women who do not aspire to these predominantly white characters.

Captivating
A great book, every woman needs to know the wonderful gems this message has! I loved hearing Stasi and John read it out too, their words were flowing and meaningful. Now I look even more forward to going to the Captivating conference with Staci next month.
