Publisher's Summary
It's not you; it's your schedule. Does it sound like magic? It's not. We've all heard of circadian rhythms - those biological processes that give us jet lag and make us night owls or early birds.
But few of us know just how profoundly these diurnal patterns affect our overall health. Bad habits - like skipping meals, squeezing in workouts, working late into the night and then trying to catch up on sleep during the weekend - disrupt our natural cycles. A growing body of research on chronobiology reveals just how sensitive the human body is to these rhythms all the way down to the genetic level.
Our clock genes control more than we realize, and small changes can make the difference between battling our bodies and effortlessly managing weight, sleep, stress, inflammation, and more. Marrying ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with the latest scientific research, this holistic step-by-step 30-day plan provides the tools - and the schedule - you need to transform your life.

Absolutely Brutal.
Change your schedule, change your life sounded like something that I'd benefit from, and I was intrigued. After struggling through the first couple of chapters that talked about religious rituals and things I'd never heard of, I eagerly waited for the scientific part- that never came.
Unfortunately, while there are a few seemingly reasonable ideas sprinkled throughout this book, the authors undermine their own attempts to convince the scientifically educated by spewing pseudoscientific trash every paragraph. Once I arrived at the part where the narrator said that it's important for men to take their pulse on the right wrist and women to take it on the left due to men having sun energy and women having lunar energy, I promptly switched off the book and returned it to audible for my credit back. As a physician, I can confidently comment that while the ideas of sticking to a regular bedtime, avoiding eating late, and exercising daily will, in fact, contribute to anyone's well-being, I cannot support nor continue to listen to the ridiculous ideas that are presented alongside what would otherwise have potential to be a valuable resource. It's such a shame that the pseudoscience, astrology, and other storybook tales were presented as factual evidence to try to argue points that wouldn't even have needed the help on their own, because it all detracts from the validity of the information in this book. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Helped to change my life in a positive way
This is actually a very good book. I don’t know why there aren’t more people read it.
I started to change my schedules the next day after I started to listen to it, and got good results almost immediately after. However, it seems that I slipped back a little to my old habit, and I will need to remind myself again an again to get me back to the rhythm of the cycles.
Bought a hard copy for my kids after I listened to it since they don’t listen to audiobooks.

loved it. Going to make my son read this next .
I'm already using so many things from this book. I cannot wait to see results in 30 days from now. My sleep has already got better doing the three meals a day and eating at the proper times. I'm super excited for my future health. And to teach my 13 year old son more about his own health and why it's so important to eat at the right times.

absolute hogwash
circadian rhythms, okay get to bed at a decent time, okay don't eat after dark, okay the rest of it just a gigantic laundry list of foods that are opinions of what you should and shouldn't eat according to the temperature. A sixth grader has a better idea of actual healthy eating than this book with its gigantic laundry list of nonsense move on

Very informative with action oriented steps!
I am the type of person that will by any sort of self-help book if I think I could even remotely get something out of it. I’ll usually read a chapter or two, try a couple things and get bored. THIS book is different, I can do this book and it has changed my life! I’ve always been a night owl and now I rise with the sun. I feel so much healthier, productive and happier from all of the tips and knowledge in this amazing book! I’m sure I will reread it many times!

Good sleep habits started it all
I had no idea this book would teach me so much. In order to keep myself on a good schedule I needed to first get a good night’s sleep. Once I planned around that my wake time, early morning, lunch, and evening routines got underway and I feel clear and full of momentum. By harnessing my ability to understand my own time, I feel I am making time for myself in the future by thinking ahead and being proactive. Great read, very spiritual but not in a religious sense.

Ayurvedic advice for modern living
I am a health professional ( Nurse) and a life coach and I have been looking for some solid information to incorporate into my own life and to share with clients. This book is great. I loved learning about my rhythms and how I can understand them to better plan my life and help others better plan their own work and life so they have better energy and happiness.
The nutritional information is also really practical.
