Publisher's Summary

With the paparazzi hot on her heels, Mandy Bettencourt is desperate for somewhere to hide, and her best friend has just the place.

It’s perfect. No Internet. No phone. A deep bathtub she’s busy soaking in when he shows up.

Her best friend’s brother, Dante Crowne. Rich as a cardinal sin and handsome enough to piss off the devil. A man with a brooding, no-nonsense attitude and a reputation for unforgettable bedroom games.

Mandy got an early taste of them in high school - for seven minutes in a closet. She can tell you, the rumors are all true.

Dante knows he’s got a reputation for a lot of things, including a love of solitude.

But there’s a beautiful socialite in his bathtub, and the memory of those seven minutes isn’t inspiring him to kick her out.

So he offers her a deal.

If she wants to stay, she has to work.

If she makes a mistake, she’s corrected with pink hand marks on her backside.

That’s the deal.

Beg for it or leave it.

He’s surprised when she agrees, and he’s even more surprised when she likes the punishment.

The most shocking thing, though, is how much he’s starting to like her.

They can’t stay in paradise forever.

Los Angeles awaits.

But an old nemesis sets his sights on tearing them apart, and Dante may be the one left begging.

Crowne Rules is a complete standalone. You don’t have to listen to any of the Crowne Brothers books to pick this up, but you might want to once you’re done with Dante.

Smart and sexy with an emotional punch.

I loved this story. I think it’s my favorite of all the Crowne Series.

Emma Wilder was excellent as we’ve come to expect. Her male voice is so good but she does a great job here of bringing the character of Mandy. She shows Mandy’s vulnerability and her quest to become a strong empowered woman with conviction.

I’ve been a fan of Christian Fox for a while and this may be his best performance (that i have heard). He brings lays bare all the emotions if Dante in such a powerful way. As a listener I felt for him and for all that he went through with his first relationship with an older woman at such a young age. I loved the journey his character took to reach the point where he realized he was worthy not only of loving Mandy but of being loved by her.

The sexual chemistry between the characters was off the charts. And as steamy as they were they never felt overdone and definitely served a purpose in the development of the characters. I highly recommend this book!

Loved the first two books

I just didn’t care for the way Dante called Mandi his slut, whore, etc. and had her calling herself that. I get that the intent was to be empowering but it didn’t land.

MY SOUL SUCKS HER FRICTION-FILLED SEXY STORIES UP

Dante and Mandy’s relationship is like oil and water.. they just don’t mix - but, when they’re forced to spend the night under the same borrowed Cambria roof, the heated looks, the barbed banter, the venomous vibes and the sexual friction quickly turns to flames when a dirty deal is struck. Mandy is running away from her own bad situation and headline gossip.. so, when she gets a small taste of what Dante is offering it’s the perfect solution. Dante is a bossy, crude, layered, dirty dirty talking Dom and he awakens a side Mandy never knew she had.. a submissive side. And with sex-fuelled tension leading their steps, Dante slowly drops his preconceived views, puts his past behind him and sees what’s in front of him.. and Mandy blossoms and finds herself too. With dual POV very entertaining chapters, this is a rewarding love story.. but wow it was hhhot. Emma and Christian were brilliant of course at bringing the story to life and were the perfect fit for Dante and Mandy’s personalities and emotional states. The Epilogue was very sweet too.

WORTH A CREDIT? Definitely.

H🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥T!!!!

There's a story in this I swear but the hot steamy parts overshadow everything else lol. NOT complaining btw 😏 JK, there is a story and a developing relationship that has to get past many walls on both fronts. I did enjoy their shared past too. ❤ I love me a stoic broody dom.

Story had potential

I liked the characters and storyline. I cringed when he was calling her a slut and whore. The female narrator is not a favorite either.

Dante Crowne and Mandy Bettencourt in Crowne Rules

Every time I read a book by CD Reiss I am amazed by her talent to tell a story, to draw us in, to envelop us in her talent to the point nothing else matters but reading the words on the pages she fills. This book is no exception. I was transported into the world of Dante and Mandy and held there until the last page. Separately their lives are in turmoil. They find peace in each other but don’t trust it. Can they find their happily ever after? Check it out and let Ms. Reiss take you away with her exquisite words. I also enjoyed listening to the audible book through whisper-sync as I read along. I love Emma Wilder in everything I’ve heard her narrate. Christian Fox is new to me but his voice is smooth and easy to listen to. I’ll definitely be searching for more of his narrations in the future. I am a fan of CD Reiss and highly recommend her work to anyone who is interested in finding a talented author.

Crowne Rules by CD REISS

What a great read. I loved it, but t then I loved all of Ms. Reiss’s books. Such young love that took years to form and when it did I was only wishing it were me who found the prefect man. The narrators Emma Wilder and Christian Fox were perfect. I’ve listened to many of their narrations and this one was superb together, plus most of my library is with Christian Fox’s narration. That voice....sigh.🥃

Not sure how I feel about this one

The story of Dante and Mandy was interesting and their respective histories was different but I’m not sure how I feel about some parts of the story. I don’t have a problem with doms and subs (a little reminiscent of FSOG in his story) but I wasn’t a fan of the “whore” and “slut” dirty talk. It was a little too close to shaming for me when this type of sexual kink should and can be very empowering for the woman. I’m all about the dirty talking alpha male but I’m not sure this one hit the mark for me. Christian Fox and Emma Wilder were fantastic and brought a lot to the performance.

OMG full on book

OMG this is a full on book that I had to fan myself while listening.
Dante is a Dom and starts a fill on relationship but doesn’t want to commit but they basically are but won’t admit it.
I’m not a total fan of pets names he called Mandy but I end a fantastic book and the narration was amazing

Not as good as the others in the Series

I liked the writing but it was just lacking for me compared to the other books in the series. There just wasn’t enough angst and the story line seemed a bit basic. I like a little more drama apparently!

Wait was worth it

I wasn’t enamoured by the female narrator but I enjoyed the book Otherwise.
I liked the fact there wasn’t too much dithering by either party once they decided they were meant for each other.
It was past history that interfered.
