Underrated Gem Shines Again
Danger 5 is one of the funniest shows of the past decade, and it's audio form is just as good. The show managed to combine the special effects of b movies and the thunderbirds with tight writing and hilarious acting. The podcasts are much the same but with the added twists that a non visual medium forces onto the actors. Simply wonderful work that always gives a sensible chuckle.

I SAID SIT DOWN
...and listen to Danger 5. If you love the show you can picture everything and it’s just as amazing.
The fact that this isn’t more popular than it is, is frankly, a dastardly crime. It’s funny, it’s insane, you care about the characters, and you wish there was more. Sequel!

Retro spy comic adventure
Pierre is treated like the most exotic foreigner--he's French. That"s your clue that this British. Ilsa only speaks-- what eastern European language? Not important, just funny. Claire & Jackson--channeling familiar English & American spy tropes. Tucker is the typical, no nothing blowhard. in these difficult times, this retro humor goes down easy.

Brilliant just like the TV show.
I was so excited when I heard that Danger 5 was going to be adapted to an audio adventure series that I subscribed to audible for this podcast alone, and have listened to it numerous times. I loved the show and Stereo Adventures doesn't disappoint. I just hope it's more than a one and done season. Please for the love of all that is holy, please make more!!!

This series is hilarious for fans of the cult Australian TV show, but I'm not sure what anyone else would make of it!

Jolly good wheeze
This is bonkers, totally and utterly mad. I loved it, especially as I'm currently in hospital, bored and worried. Anything that can take you away when in my situation is priceless, being free made it doubly so.
The characters have all just stepped out of a cross between Boys Own and the Bunty comics of the 50s/60s. It reminds me of the excellent Ripping Yarns series with Michael Palin and other Pythons.
Highly enjoyable, completely insane and worth making more series of.
Thanks to all who had a hand in it.

Danger 5 returns!
An excellent wacky adventure, and the closest we are going to get to a season 3. Strongly recommend watching the TV show first though, not sure what you would make of it otherwise!

Joyfully bonkers!
I’ve come to the Danger 5 table rather late, but I’m glad I found this little gem of a show. The stories are bonkers, surreal and the “adverts” are ace! Definitely not for everyone, but for me this was perfect to cheer me up in these troubled times. I’m now off to be really uncool whilst dancing the Fruity!

Brilliant to have the team back together!
It's been great having the Danger 5 team back together for this series - but it's really accessible to anyone who's not familiar with the TV show it's based on! I love the humour - it's bad taste without punching down and wonderfully surreal.

This is so bad, it gets better than good.
At first I tried to make sense of it but w/o knowing the TV-series, and taking it somewhat serious at the start, I could not believe how corny this was. But when you let go of preconceived ideas and any expectations it becomes incredibly entertaining - especially the commercials are hilarious. Thank you Audible for putting out.

Grouse tales of bizarre and humorous nature
Just like the television series, Stereo Adventures though lacking in visuals provides even more elaborate and outlandish scenes then its televised counterpart using the vocal performance of the loveable original cast and the classic 60s spy mission story formula. A quality addition to the Danger 5 series that's just as funny if not more so then the show.

The Finest Absurd Comedy!
If you're a fan of Danger 5, it's exactly what you're expecting.
If you're not a fan, get ready to become one! Brilliant blend of slapstick, absurdism, satire, and utter insanity.
I challenge anyone out there to listen to the first 2 minutes of an episode, pause and try to guess what will happen over the next 30 minutes, and then see how close you were. (Hint: you'll always be wrong, and glad you were!

The cult TV show is just as good as audio comedy
It’s a dire state of affairs if you’ve never experienced either of the two completely bonkers television seasons of Danger 5. The Australian comedy show, created by Dario Russo and David Ashby almost ten years ago, is outrageous in every sense of the word: it’s laugh-out-loud funny, wildly exaggerated, and completely camp as an international team of spies attempt to outwit Hitler and win World War II. The 1960’s vibe, deliberately cheap-looking effects, off-kilter dubbing, and high-action storylines created a cult following and a unique viewing experience unlike anything else on TV at the time.
Audible has now brought the team back together, including the original voice cast and writers, to present a new series of outlandish adventures, and the result is glorious.
In Danger 5: Stereo Adventures, the threat of world domination by Hitler is replaced by communism across eight new illogical adventures that include squaring off against a 50-foot pussycat, meeting Spiro the conspiracy dog, getting down at Dracula’s beach party, becoming victim to an Australian bargain basement, and going on a treasure hunt in the Bermuda Triangle.
Despite the lack of visuals which added so much to the cheesy goodness of the television series, the audio adventures allow the creative minds of the series to take the Danger 5 team to greater heights. The sound effects, music and dialogue combine to create a very visual experience that is as absurdist as it is exciting.
The eight episodes are each replete with two fake commercial breaks that are equally nonsensical and add to the overall fun of the series.
Comedian Shaun Micallef, who guest starred in an episode of the TV series, joins the regular cast as the narrator – a device not used in the original series but one which adds clarity to the insanity as each audio story evolves. Said cast includes David Ashby (Jackson), Sean James Murphy (Tucker), Aldo Mignone (Pierre), Nataša Ristić (Ilsa), and Michelle Nightingale (who dubbed the voice of Claire for actor Amanda Simons). Both Carmine Russo and Andreas Sobik also return, having played Hitler and the dubbed voice of Hitler respectively in the original series.
Thankfully, there’s no need to have seen the television series to dive into the mayhem of this third season. The Audible Original production has ensured any references to earlier antics are limited and in context for new listeners.
Lovers of the ridiculous, fast-paced action, and kitsch retro vibes should all rejoice in the revival of this much-loved series. Trigger warnings, for those who need them, include excessive smoking, alcohol consumption, sexism, drugs and the occasionally well-placed naughty word. Those who struggle to have a good time may wish to avoid Danger 5: Stereo Adventures.

a flawless, exciting comedy adventure. very funny
Chuckled my way through this. a fantastic follow up to the series. in no way did I not have a full sense of what was going on even with it's loony out this world scenarios.
Truly the best performances yet from the cast. All were standouts in every line delivered.
Even with it's bigger than life awe, it could be great for easy listening. Now that I finished it. I will definitely be to listen again.
