Publisher's Summary

Nothing was ever simple between a Madison and a Harte. The feud that had divided their families still simmered. Now, only months after their siblings’ wedding, Lillian Harte and Gabe Madison are at each other’s throats.

Successful CEO Gabe had insisted on becoming a client of Lillian’s matchmaking service. And after five disastrous dates, Lillian is at her wit’s end. If she hadn’t already decided to close her business and move home to Eclipse Bay, Gabe would have been the final straw. But when she finds Gabe at her door demanding she fulfill their business contract, the sparks between them suddenly turn personal. Once again, Eclipse Bay will witness a showdown – between a relentless Madison and an irresistible Harte.

Good, but not as good as Eclipse Bay...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I think that the romance needed to be better developed. It's a good book but I did not feel the connection between the main characters Lillian and Gabe. It felt like a business deal the whole thing. Not big on the romance part but there was some suspense which was nice.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Most: the intrigue surrounding the institute and the political forces behind it.
The least interesting: unfortunately, the romance between the main characters. That was a disappointment since I loved the first book because of the sweet wonderful romance.

What does Joyce Bean bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I prefer female narrators always. For me a good narrator has to make distinct voices for each characters. An excellent narrator makes believeable male voices. Joyce Bean is a very good narrator. You can always tell apart each character and she makes good male voices, specially with the older characters. I would definitely listen to more books narrated by her.

Could you see Dawn in Eclipse Bay being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No, not really. Can't see a movie or a tv series although more books would be nice. I specially enjoyed the grandpas and how they wanted to have a say in the lives of their adult grandchildren. Looking forward to the third and final book of e series Summer on Eclipse Bay.

Any additional comments?

If you loved the first book, then you'll enjoy this one. You can listen to this one as a stand alone book since it makes little references to the previous book. That said the first book was a lot better in the romance department so I would recommend that one first.

My favorite of the Eclipse Bay series

She should have subtitled it Madisons Heart. It would have been perfect. As for the story has just the right amount of romance mixed with mystery my favorite mix.

what a waste..

This is the first time I have tried this author and this is going to be the last.. The characters, plot, actually, the whole thing was terrible. First of all, the charcters were supposed to be strong, confident business people.. The female just came across as very whiney and really stupid. The male character came across as a pushover. the whole "helping out this arizona" charcter was just pointless. this was just a waste of time and money.. I couldnt even finish the book.. Find another book to spend ur money on everyone.. This book is not worth a dollar.. Sorry!!!
