Publisher's Summary

Tired of being bullied, a scrawny, impoverished Dawood Ibrahim is looking for a saviour, Khalid Khan Bachcha, who would teach him the ropes of handling a bunch of hooligans. Instead, what he gets is a mentor who eventually transforms him into a cunning mafia boss.

In Dawood's Mentor, Dawood meets Khalid and they eventually forge an unlikely friendship. Together they defeat, crush, and neutralize every mafia gang in Mumbai. Khalid lays the foundation for the D-Gang as Dawood goes on to establish a crime syndicate like no other and becomes India's most wanted criminal.

Nicely woven & equally narrated

Plots & subplots very well handled. Even old incidents where revived are beautifully merged. I am still to complete but could not resist writing the review. Narrator has clear, impressive accent so easy on ears. Facts appears to be well researched. As reader you can correlate to the time the writer is narrating. In such stories, whether all the facts are impartially presented or some characters got a shade different from what he was - only the character or the writer know but as a story you don't smell fiction in facts.

Bad narration

Such a great story but such bad narration. It’s spoken in a monotone and mispronounced every 3rd word. The author Hussain Zaidi can narrate this a lot better and Make it a lot more interesting.
