Good houseguests don't get accused of murder...Kate Sharp loves the perks of her location scout profession. When she fills in for a researcher at a Regency-themed English house party, she's looking forward to indulging in the posh atmosphere of tea on the lawn and elegant candlelight dinners, but when a guest is murdered in a locked room, Kate becomes the prime suspect. As she turns her attention to the guests, the staff, and the owners, Kate must unlock the mystery and uncover the murderer before she's arrested for a crime she didn't commit.

Reenactment of Life in an Estate During the 1800s

Of the three Sara Rosett murders in a country village, I enjoyed this one the best.
Characters from Books One and Two are familiar to the reader. Two mysteries in the Stately Home to be solved.
Must read the first two books before this one.

I really enjoyed this series.

I really enjoyed this series. The descriptions of the manor homes, cottages and small villages was spot on. I love visiting the UK, I'm looking forward to an upcoming trip to Scotland and this was a good primer for my trip. Can't wait to get some real Fish & Chips!

Smashing

I love this series. Once again, Kate gets involved in a murder investigation. She shows her loyalty towards Lady Stone, her burgeoning love for Alex, and manages to win the heart of Alex's younger sister Grace. This is a excellent series with realistic well developed characters and a well written mystery. I read this series on my Kindle and I enjoy listening to it again with audible. I hope all of the books are made available on audible.

Loving this series

I am enjoying this series by Sara Rosett, and I am anxious to listen to the last book. The topic is new, which I liked, plus she does a great job with her characters. I feel like I know each one and that makes the enjoyment even better as the series goes on.

Excellent series, and this is a star

Excellent. I am enjoying this series thoroughly. The characters are all really well-drawn...whether they are likable, loath-able or just plain interesting. Plotting is admirable, as far as I am concerned, and the settings are delightful. I love the author's style of writing. Well-done! Superb narrator, Sarah Mollo-Christensen.

A good cozy mystery

I enjoy this series by Rosett. They are solid cozy mysteries with a touch of romance and I like the developing relationships and return characters in the series. This one seemed a little short compared to the first two, and I found it slightly more far fetched than the others, but I still liked it.

I like the narrator Sara Mollo-Christensen but she has a distinctly Australian twang that does interfere a little bit with my listening. I have to tell myself those characters are just visiting from Australia to make myself ignore the accent. Her "posh" UK accents are great, but the more average ones (characters like Ella) are decidedly Aussie. Other than that, she continues to be enjoyable in this series.

Well written great story

This is another book in the Murder on Location Mystery series and as is typical in this series, this one is well written and interesting. If you enjoy regency period themes and English mysteries, not to mention being a fan of Jane Austin, you will probably enjoy this series.

A great cozy mystery

I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to the next story in the series. My only complaint is that the narrators British accent sounds much more Australian than British. for me, it became distracting. Other than that, she does a great job with the narration.
