Publisher's Summary
This is the unfettered story of Ashneer Grover—the favourite and misunderstood poster boy of Start-up India.
Raw, gut-wrenching in its honesty and completely from the heart, this is storytelling at its finest.
A young boy with a ‘refugee’ tag growing up in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar outpaces his circumstances by becoming a rank-holder at the pinnacle of academic excellence in India-IIT Delhi. He goes on to do an MBA from the hallowed halls of IIM Ahmedabad, builds a career as an investment banker at Kotak Investment Banking and AmEx, and is pivotal in the making of two unicorns—Grofers, as CFO, and BharatPe, as co-founder.
As a judge on the popular TV show Shark Tank India, Ashneer becomes a household name even as his life turns upside down. Controversy, media spotlight, garrulous social media chatter descend, making it difficult to distinguish fact from fiction.

"Jab tak hai Grover... It's Not Over"
The above captioned lines remind me.. How hard it is to leave your own baby which we nurture and stand and some day, we were Bullishly kicked out. But I strongly believe that Hard and fair efforts never go wasted. Keep Going Mr. Grover.

Insight into the Life of an Indian Startup Founder
I watched Shark Tank India season 1 and thats how I came to know about Ashneer and BharatPe. This book is amazing for someone who wants to understand the technicalities of an Indian startup and also for someone who wants to know more about Ashneer Grover. I waited for a while for this book to be available in Australia.
This book is not for someone who wants to learn functionality of a business.
I really wish Ashneer put more emphasis on explaining certain concepts mentioned in the book like series A funding or ESOPs. Would have been nice to learn those things.
This is not a guide to starting a Startup but is still a good book.
