Break it up

Interesting and informative.
However, for those of us who use our MP3 players, there is no way to find the beginning of the meditation sections since it is not divided into chapters

A dreamers guide to infinity

What made the experience of listening to Dream Gates the most enjoyable?

Dream Gates is a complete JOY! Robert Moss is an intelligent, forthright, capable and entertaining story-teller. I use the phrase "story-teller" in the best possible sense. He is incredibly articulate and his analysis of his past experiences are very well thought out and his delivery is highly entertaining.I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to listen to this in it's entirety before purchase and I'd gladly have bought the disks (and may still in the future) but this format was more in keeping with my current budget for books.I have read some of his blog writings and books and have several more books in my library waiting to be read.
This audio purchase is way better than someone reading a book to you. This is Robert Moss himself giving his story from his heart. This is perhaps as good as you can get to having a weekend with Robert Moss (without the pleasure of the literal experience), a dream-Shaman who guides you through the intricacies of the dream world and reveals all the secrets and strategies of exploring your own dream life. Definitely the best audiobook I've ever had the privilege of spending time with.

Any additional comments?

If you can afford the disks, grab them! If not, you can definitely afford the audible download and you will NOT be sorry for the wisdom gleaned and the improved and better understood dream life that awaits you.

Interesting, Inspiring, different

A great book, written and read with enthusiasm, more mystical than the usual X-File-type wizz-bang series of spooky tales about famous dreams and dreamers we've all heard before.

Excellent! Great Guide for Dream Work

I have journaled dreams off and on since 1981, taken classes and read many books on this subject. I am a practicing psychotherapist and often recommend dream work for my clients, so I am thrilled when I find a resource of this caliber. Robert Moss reads his material in a conversational style that is refreshing and easy to listen to. He references many theories and styles of approaching dream work, and he clearly has a very thorough knowledge of the subject as well as extensive personal experience doing his own dream work. I have been looking for a resource to help me move beyond interpretation of dreams into direct experience of the dream and what he calls "active dreaming." This is it, and I am already using his methods to expand my dream work into new levels. This book could appeal to anyone from beginners through experienced seekers. I recommend it very highly!

Informative explanations of dream journeys

Very enjoyable, educational, and sometimes entertaining as the author knows how to write with ease and some humor.

This is an audiobook worth listening to again.

I wish audiobooks were set up so that it is easy to find Guided Meditations - perhaps something like a bookmark with a label would help listeners navigate quickly.

Robert Moss is quite generous with his information and tips.

An eye opener

Where does Dream Gates rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Near the top. The author is very thorough with his discussion on how to interpret your dreams. He gave me an aha moment when I realized the true meaning of a recurring dream that I couldn't find an explanation for. This pertained to extra rooms in the house, etc. Now I always keep my dreams in a journal and little by little I am beginning to understand my psyche. Thanks, Robert, for unlocking the secret of my dreams and I hope to continue learning from your book as I listen to it again and again.

Any additional comments?

Sorry I couldn't write more specifics for there are too many information one can learn from this book. Just buy it!

Fun, but I'm a little skeptical; drumming included

It was a fun book, not sure how much of dreaming is as the author interprets it (often in a very literal fashion, rather than a purely symbolic way as I am used to). For example, is the Native American man that fuses with him in a dream really a man who once existed, or - in a more Jungian view - solely an integration of some aspect of his shadow self? (I have also had a shadow-integration experience very similar to what he describes, so I can at least relate to that) .. Is he really talking with once-living shamanic people from various times in the astral plane of his dreams, or, are these aspects of himself being symbolically represented? I don't know..

I loved the shamanic drumming in the audiobook, and wish he had more of these sessions (and longer ones).

A beautiful, magical & practical classic

An old Sounds True program, this audio is a must for anyone interested in the art and practice of shamanic dreaming. Robert Moss makes an excellent job in sharing shamanic techniques and practices, explanations and initiation, wonderfully and masterfully mixed with poetical yet practical examples to form a fluid and coherent experience. Greatly appreciated!

Wonderful book.

l listened to it all night, dreaming and listening and even dreaming while listening... He speaks with the voice of one who has known death three times, and survived. (Three NDEs in childhood) ... Having kept a dream journal for 30 years, I can recommend the journey, and suggest you let Robert Moss lead you through the Dream Gate.
