So so book

I liked book What to say the same author, however book ‘How to sell’ doesn’t impress me at all. Very monotonous way of telling the story, hard to catch the ideas, not a lot of fresh ideas...

Doesn't Transcend Sales

Not what I was expecting. Despite the tag line "For Non Sales Professionals", there's nothing in this book of value if you aren't a salesperson. A more apt title would be The Dummies Guide to being a Salesperson. I can't imagine professional salespeople aren't already aware of these very basic techniques.

Would not recommend

My honest opinion on this book is that it was not thought through very well. The advice given in this book is very rudimentary, it honestly reads like someone submitted an essay last minute and was just filling the book with unnecessary and common sense things. For example it tells you to smile and speaks about how a smile makes someone feel.... but what really turned me off was the section regarding painting a picture and making a portfolio of your desired customer..... first of all if you work in sales you DO NOT pick your customer, your customer picks YOU. Anyone that walks through my door is an opportunity and I was hoping this book would give me good tips and advice when in reality it read like I wrote this book last minute with whatever I know personally. Please save your time and money

Another brilliant book by Phil M Jones

Phil has a fantastic way of taking the topic of sales and demonstrating how this profession is much more than the average person would think. Clear, concise and does exactly what it says on the cover.

Know how to exactly how to sell

I really enjoyed listening to this book, it's was very inspiring, it certainly has got some helpful tips on sales and everyday life, if you're sceptical, don't be and you be surprised on how much you will learn..

From this guy and his voice is very powerful and did have impact on me, so buy the the book if you want to get ahead, don't get left behind always keep learning. Take action today and propel yourself forward

Great reminder of the fundamentals

This is another great book from Phil M Jones and is a great reminder of the fundamentals of delivering genuine value to customers in today's competitive environment, even if you have been in sales for an extended time.
