After finishing Colin and Amy's book, I couldn't wait anymore and so listened to CBomb's book finally and I had thought his book would be super intense with chaos but I can't believe how much this book has left me a melted mess with the cuteness, sweetness and emotional ride that this book was.
First off, listening to the audiobook is just something else and I couldn't stop listening to it and secondly, ahhh... what has Ms. Rowe put in these books that I can't stop devouring them nor can I stop falling in love with each and every character.
This is a Single dad romance who is a world famous drummer and part of the RCB band. Caleb is known to be arrogant, a man who's the definition of a bad boy and yet women can't have enough of him.
But this book has shown Caleb in a way that I never would have seen him in such a way especially after marathon listening to all the other books that featured glimpses of Caleb and how unapologetic he is about his attitude.
Caleb goes back to his home town for his little daughter, to take back her custody and do things the right way and finally fix his mistakes of the past.
Aubrey is the perfect aunty of little Raine and I admired her so much because of how she treats her friend's child like her own.
I'm telling you the many scenes with Aubrey and how she is with Raine and even the way she teaches Caleb to be gentle and be a good father to Raine will absolutely freaking MELT YOU.
Melt you that you will be smiling and feeling oh so much.
Also, Aubrey's parents... They are so good with Raine and even how they make Caleb understand things... Ahhh...Ms.Rowe your writing is beyond phenomenal and has my entire heart.
The chemistry between Caleb and Aubrey... Ooohhh... The controlling of feelings of both emotions and Lust.. And when they finally give in... Oh my freaking goodness.... Caleb needed Aubrey so bad.. And I'm telling you just listen to the audiobook of this one. 🔥🔥
I especially loved how the narrator has enacted little Raine's voice, it actually sounds like a cute little girl is talking and it was so adorable.
This book will melt your heart and light you on fire at the same time. So freaking good. Loved loved this one. Definitely can't get enough of Ms. Rowe's books.
