decent story but

the narrative is horrible. if you have read or listened to other books on the topic take a pass. if it is your first book on the topic it is decent but better material out there

Great info, maybe not the best narration

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I found the narrator was a bit hard to listen to, and I found myself tuning out, even though the content is good.
I love Nancy Duarte, but don't think this did her ideas justice.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It was a bit robotic, and technical, not enough warmth given all the talk about emotions in storytelling!

get a copy in print or at least e-book NOT AUDIBLE

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

this is a good book, just a terrible book for audible. ever other paragraph she was referencing some figure in the PDF and if you aren't looking at it, it is just noise....

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

say UP FRONT....DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE PDF that comes with it.

Very Helpful

This book breaks down presenting in a helpful way, gives good rules of thumb, and goes beyond by addressing good practices for after the presentation.

Can't stomach the narrative

The book has useful material, but considering that it's all about presentation, i'm blown away they'd pick such a jarring narrator to present their material!
