Story
On 23 May 2019, when the results of the general elections were announced, Narendra Modi and the BJP-led NDA coalition were voted back to power with an overwhelming majority. To some, the numbers of Modi's victory came as something of a surprise; for others, the BJP's triumph was a vindication of their belief in the government and its policies. Irrespective of one's political standpoint, one thing was beyond dispute: this was a landmark verdict that deserved to be reported with intelligence and without bias. Rajdeep Sardesai's new book, 2019: How Modi Won India, does just that.

Terry D'Souza Needs to Work on Diction
Terry mispronounced multiple words incorrectly including disseminated and debilitating. He pronounced them as decimated and delibitating.

Every Indian should listen to this
Irrespective of your political preferences and even whether you are in India or not - its important to understand how Indian Democracy works (from a political angle)
Author made a fantastic attempt to make sense of seemingly messy politics. It's not about BJP or Congress. It's about how the system works and how some actions of political parties are damaging the system even more.
Narration could be better. The tone is monotonous and the transitions to new chapters is much less obvious.

Could you not have arranged for a better narrator? I loved the content. It seems like an honest, neutral and thoroughly informative account. Thanks for this book.

Decent content, pretty bad narration
Mispronunciation apart, the narrator's reading of decimal digits as numbers should have been corrected while publishing this

Excellent insight into the Indian electoral system
Progresses like a suspense thriller with never a dull moment. Well organized and credible content. The staccato reading could be much smoother and pleasanter.

A much needed info book for any political novice
A very candid take on the Indian Politics for those planning to choose politics as a career. Well researched. Also reflects why the much needed educated professionals will continue to shy away from entering this unfair arena

Great insight in functioning of political parties
Personally I had very limited notion about inside operations of modern Indian politics and political parties. Proved to be quite an eye opener and educating for me. Narrator was good in general but as stated by others, the basic pronunciation mistakes hurt the ear.
