If He's Dangerous
I loved this book the characters are strong but not in the way that makes them stupid. the narrator did a wonderful job with this book also. So much so I searched her name to discover more books she has narrated. I have also already downloaded the next book in this series to start listening to right away.

Dangerous Hero, Strong Heroine
Sir Argus needs someone strong to save him and our heroine is very strong and stubborn, this story is amazing and I not only love the writing, as Hannah Howell is brilliant but I love the way Ashford MacNab narrates, this is a series that I will listen to over and over again and It makes me anxious for the next in the series.

Wonderful..
Any additional comments?
Ahh.. 2- one and two stars reviews and 56 four and five star reviews. Go figure..
I loved this book, as well as the other 3 that I read in this series, and will now move on to the 5th one.
I find the Wherlocke's and Vaughn's a fascinating family.
Loved Argus, and how he met Lorelie. Loved how she went looking for him and saved him from Charles.
AND Charles and his two minions got exactly what they deserved.
Loved his son's Olwen and Daries. Always love seeing Olympia and Iago.
And I adored Lorelie's father, Roland and the butler, Max.
A great read filled with murder, mischief, and mayhem.
With awesome sexual tension and sex that was very well written.
As to the narrator: Simply awesome! Ms. McNab could stand to read a little more emotion in her books but as long as the men sound like men, I'm good. Nothing worse than two people making love and having them BOTH sound just like the male or female narrator, no difference in their voices whatsoever. Gotta have men and women's voices in a book or it's not worth listening to. IMO..

Little romance
I enjoyed the story so what. I story was to slow and August I though was little too foolish. I really enjoy August's family entering the story. It was like seeing old friends.

Enjoyable Installment in this Series
The narrator did a good job. Another entertaining installment of the Wherlocke series by Hannah Howell. I enjoyed both H/h and was happy to see it was a male Wherlocke in this book.

If He's Dangerous
This is the fourth of seven books in the Wherlocke series by Hannah Howell. Each story is about a kinsman in the Wherlocke and Vaughn families who seem to have an extra ability to help those around them. In older days they had been burned as witches. Lorelei Sundun is not of that clan but when she is confronted with a naked man in her garden who after a brief time disappears she is now out to find that man and rescue him. Sir Argus Wherlocke has been captured and chained, beaten and starved for several weeks. His one moment of getting help is not what he thought. He goes to someone not of his family. Now the race is on. She knows she must save him. And with her very large family and her father a Duke all hands are at the ready. But will she be able to keep him safe until his family gets there? And why him and what for are the questions in this story. Will she be able to accept him and his very different family? The narration was pretty good in this book. I was able to listen to it in one day.

Slower and predictable but warlock funny!
This book was good and again had funny situations from the family. The characters are rich in emotion and character but it was very predictable with little mystery. Still a good read.

Loved the book!!
What made the experience of listening to If He's Dangerous the most enjoyable?
I always enjoy being able to listen to the audio version of the books so that I'm able to hear the correct pronunciation of unfamiliar words or dialect. Also I'm able to do other activities while listening.. 😊
What other book might you compare If He's Dangerous to and why?
The other books in the series.. They are all excellent!
Have you listened to any of Ashford MacNab’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, she does a very good job with the variety of male and female voices and accents. Children are well done also. Since there are often several male characters, it can sometimes be a little confusing as they sometimes sounded similar.
Any additional comments?
The guy on the cover was very good looking, he just didn't look like the character described in the book. I really prefer for the continuity of look between the cover model and the character's description written in the book.. So who ever chooses the audio covers (and book covers) might wish to take that into consideration.. Hair color, length, eye color etc. Just a thought.
