This is an excellent book ,however the audible version is pathethic thanks to narrator . I cringed everytime the narrator tried to pronounce (or butcher) a persian name or persian term, which this book is filled with No idea why Producers couldn't choose a native iranian speaker for the narration of a book about iranian history !, instead of a native english speaker who runs rougshod over pronunciation of key Persian names and terms.
