Critic Reviews

More bolt-out-of-the-blue twists and turns in this edge-of-the-armchair cushion tale than are contained in a single strand of human DNA...a rip-roaring and breathlessly exciting tale.

Kill For Me, Kill For You – by Steve Cavanagh

🔖 A dark, twisted idea where grief turns into a dangerous deal, strangers agreeing to kill for each other just to stay clean.

🔖 What starts like a familiar thriller quietly flips the rules halfway through and from there, nothing feels predictable.

🔖 The book dives deep into grief, guilt, and how loss can bend morality until right and wrong blur completely.

🔖 Short chapters and shifting perspectives made it impossible to slow down. Every chapter pushed me forward.

🔖 The psychological layers were intense. Identities overlap, truths hide in plain sight, and people are never who they seem.

🔖 That mid-book twist? A complete game-changer that redefines everything you thought you understood.

🔖 Dark, cinematic, and unsettling - it plays like a movie unfolding in your head.

✨ A smart, gripping psychological thriller that proves revenge is never simple and grief can be the most dangerous motive of all.

🔥 When grief makes the rules, even justice turns deadly.

It's good. Entertaining. You know that there will be a twist. But it feels right when it finally comes. Then another and another...

A little slow burn, though. I kept wanting to fast forward at times. But, overall it's a good satisfying listen! Listen at 1.25x ;-)
