Since I listened to the audiobook, I have to start with the narration by Nova B Perez and Vanessa Vasquez. It was incredible 😍 The way they brought the story to life gave me goosebumps that will last for months.
Now, the characters... they were so well written. And the chemistry? Sizzling, electrifying! I always love a good enemies-to-lovers story, and this one nailed it. Dahlia and Julian have the kind of spark that makes the romance unforgettable. Their character arcs were beautifully done, and I loved how the story concluded. They got their happy-ever-after without the pressure of kids, which felt so refreshing!
The supporting characters were wholesome and so much fun. Little Niko stole my heart 😍 The moms were a total force of nature, and Rafael and Lili were amazing too. The family dynamics added so much warmth to the story.
With this first book, my excitement for the rest of the series has skyrocketed. I cannot wait to dive into the next one, and since it’s Rafael’s story, I am even more eager!
