Publisher's Summary

Acknowledged as one of the greatest religious teachers of this or any other age, the late J. Krishnamurti was a visionary whose ideas are still ahead of his time. New Dimensions host Michael Toms was fortunate to capture this philosopher's penetrating wisdom in 1983, just a few years before his death at the age of 90.

In this dialogue, he is enigmatic, uncompromising and profound, presenting us all with provocative ideas for human evolution. "The instrument of thought, which has produced this world that does not work properly, is no longer valid. So perhaps this instrument of thought is worn out. Is there another instrument we can use?"

Discover the key to new ways of being and how we can work together for a better humanity.

J. Krishnamurti was a genius.

Krishnamurti approaches everything with a sense of great humility and thus, in my opinion, incredible poise and nobility. The only complaint I could imagine anyone having is that he analyzes his points to the nth degree and sometimes seems to lose focus; however, if you listen to his talks/lessons in full, hopefully you will see that they all seem to swing off-topic in his analysis but that they reconvene at a point near the beginning of the lecture and illumine his thoughts all the more.

He points to a truth we must uncover alone.

Meditation is love... not romantic, expectant love, but pure love. Thought has no place in meditation, and thought has no place in the psychological healing of the world.

Krishnamurti 's Meditation Mastery Talk Review

Krishnamurti leads us through the caverns of our own mind , pointing out the conceptual landmarks like love and fear which we allow to derail us into fantasy and illusion. Preventing us from penetrating our thoughts and mind more convincingly so that we can move past them to the natural oasis which waits for us beyond thought.
