    भगवान विष्णु हिंदू त्रिमूर्ति का हिस्सा हैं और ब्रह्मांड के सुचारू संचालन के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं। वह ब्रह्मांडीय संतुलन बनाए रखने के लिए संरक्षक और जिम्मेदार है। जब भी यह संतुलन गड़बड़ा जाता है और अच्छाई और धार्मिकता को खतरे में डालते हुए नकारात्मक या बुरी ताकतें दुनिया पर हावी हो जाती हैं, विष्णु अपने ग्रह वैकुंठ से पृथ्वी पर उतरते हैं। वह एक अवतार लेता है और प्रचलित राक्षसी शक्ति का वध करता है। हमारे शास्त्रों में उन्हें दशावतार के रूप में उल्लेख किया गया है क्योंकि वह बुराई के खिलाफ अच्छाई की रक्षा के लिए विभिन्न युगों में 10 अलग-अलग अवतार लेते हैं। ये अवतार मानव जाति को धार्मिकता का मार्ग सिखाने के उद्देश्य से आते हैं पहला अवतार - मत्स्य अवतार (आधी मछली और आधा मानव) यह भगवान विष्णु का पहला अवतार है। यह तब है जब पृथ्वी पर पहला मनुष्य सत्यवर्त या मनु अस्तित्व में था और उसने दुनिया पर शासन किया था। एक दिन मनु एक नदी में नहाने गया। तभी उसे एक छोटी सी मछली मिली। मछली ने मनु से इसे बचाने और बड़ी मछलियों से बचाने का अनुरोध किया। मनु एक अच्छा इंसान था और मदद करना चाहता था। उसने मछली को एक जार में डाल दिया। बहुत जल्द यह जार से बाहर निकल गया और उसे एक बड़े स्थान की आवश्यकता थी। फिर उसने उसे एक तालाब में डाल दिया। जल्द ही तालाब मछली के लिए बहुत छोटा हो गया। उसने उसे नदी में छोड़ दिया लेकिन मछली नदी से बाहर निकल गई। अंत में मछली को समुद्र में डाल दिया गया। यह तब हुआ जब मछली आधी इंसान और आधी मछली में बदल गई। उन्होंने खुद को भगवान विष्णु के रूप में घोषित किया। मनु ने ब्लू वन के सामने साष्टांग प्रणाम किया और उनका आशीर्वाद मांगा विष्णु ने मनु को चेतावनी दी कि 7 दिनों के भीतर एक भीषण बाढ़ आएगी जो पूरी दुनिया को मिटा देगी। कोई जीवन नहीं बचेगा। दुनिया बुरी हो गई थी, इसलिए विनाश जरूरी था। मनु को एक नाव पर सवार होने और इस बाढ़ के माध्यम से फिर से एक नई दुनिया शुरू करने के लिए जाने का निर्देश दिया गया था। उन्हें उस नाव में विभिन्न प्रजातियों के पेड़-पौधे और जानवरों को रखने का निर्देश दिया गया था। उन्होंने मनु से सात दिव्य संतों या प्रसिद्ध सप्तर्षियों को नाव में रखने के लिए भी कहा उन्होंने नाव को आशीर्वाद दिया और कहा कि यह ...
