The astonishing success of Google was a black swan; so was 9/11. For Nassim Nicholas Taleb, black swans underlie almost everything about our world, from the rise of religions to events in our own personal lives. Elegant, startling, and universal in its applications, The Black Swan will change the way you look at the world.

An Outstanding Book to Understand Negotiation
This is an outstanding book that will help the Reader understand the dynamics of negotiation - especially the human and psychological aspects.
It challenges many well regarded negotiation strategies of Robert Fischer and other experts on the subject, and does so in a logical and convincing manner.
The book teaches simple but powerful skills and strategies to negotiation with power.

Great tips from an expert
Chris truly comes out as an expert in his area and the numerous examples he has given in case studies across different chapters displays the principles of negotiation very well. However, at places the concepts did seem overly extended and the same message could have been conveyed in a crisper manner. I would recommend this book to anyone who is not tuned to be a good negotiator or has a soft approach. Expert negotiators will also like it, but may counter argue against some of the principles. Lastly, I will give five stars for the narration of the book. In the beginning, the voice tone sounds a little too authoritative for comfort but gradually as the book picks up pace, the tone actually makes a lot of sense given the topic of the book.
