Standard story, repeat framework, narrated well
This story from Dan Brown is based on his tried and tested framework. however, it's getting stale now. while the story does hold some bit of thrill, very long and unnecessary narrations slows it down and kills it. At times, the story comes to a halt, right when prev chapter ends with high suspense and then story becomes a documentary for a while. such paragraph, I feel, are good and informative but I'll placed. However, Paul's narration is really fantastic. his voice modulation for diff characters is simply superb.

Unnecessarily stretched
Like an unedited 2:30 hour movie, the story could have finished in 60-70 chapters but took soo long to gate to the point. Brown is a talented writer and its a good idea. One time listen may be.

Good narration. Enjoyable yet underwhelming book.
Like all the Dan Brown books it was quite an enjoyable book, but it lacks the X Factor of his previous books. Many of the twists could be seen from miles. The ending seemed to be rushed as if he was trying to finish as soon as he could. The character of Robert Langdon was redundant as none of his skills were much needed for the progression of the story. Still an enjoyable listen.
The narrator did fine. Was clear, precise and legible. Should be enjoyed like a popcorn entertainment piece.

poor story line
Poorly researched for a book claiming to weave a fictional narrative with 'religions' of the world. Completely ignoring the eastern religions that come without a single book.

Delivery is Engaging
I somehow long the way Dan Brown books are written, while some can find it hard to keep track of everything that is happening simultaneously, the almost movie like delivery keeps me focused.
The journey building upto the climax was great, but somehow the climax itself was lacking the surprise factor. About 2/3rd of the book I guessed exactly what might have been the case and that matched up exactly.
A good read after all
