The global bestseller featuring symbologist Robert Langdon, from the author of THE DA VINCI CODE Dan Brown.

Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconology, arrives at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend the unveiling of an astonishing scientific breakthrough. The evening’s host is billionaire Edmond Kirsch, a futurist whose dazzling high-tech inventions and audacious predictions have made him a controversial figure around the world.

But Langdon and several hundred guests are left reeling when the meticulously orchestrated evening is suddenly blown apart. There is a real danger that Kirsch’s precious discovery may be lost in the ensuing chaos. With his life under threat, Langdon is forced into a desperate bid to escape Bilbao, taking with him the museum’s director, Ambra Vidal. Together they flee to Barcelona on a perilous quest to locate a cryptic password that will unlock Kirsch’s secret.

To evade a devious enemy who is one step ahead of them at every turn, Langdon and Vidal must navigate the labyrinthine passageways of extreme religion and hidden history. On a trail marked only by enigmatic symbols and elusive modern art, Langdon and Vidal will come face-to-face with a breathtaking truth that has remained buried – until now.

Probably one of the fastest books I have ever finished. Very nice gripping story and well read out. The reader maintained the essence of the story.

Gripping from start to end

Like an unedited 2:30 hour movie, the story could have finished in 60-70 chapters but took soo long to gate to the point. Brown is a talented writer and its a good idea. One time listen may be.

Unnecessarily stretched

Interesting and captivating story. A one time listening. Characters don't linger say as in novel Paris

It's a typical Dan Brown thing.

What I meant by the heading was that the story proceeds in a very predictable way for those who are familiar with Dan Brown's other works. His writing style and the very accurate relation of real world architecture and symbolism to fictional premises gets old after some time.

The story is no doubt thrilling and captivating. Totally worth the time and money spent on it. What I wish was, and deducted one star for the same reason, would be for Dan to make the storyline not so predictable. Do an alien fiction this time. Involve earth's history and religions. I'll buy it.

Audible's awesome as always.

Typical Dan Brown thriller.

Similar plot as previous books. Later becomes a bit predictable. Narrators voice is like even he didn't liked the book

Boring
