This is the story of the brave heart AB Tarapore who led 17 Poona Horse Regiment in the battle of Phillaur and against Pakistan in the 1965 war. A man of extraordinary reflexes and courage, his pluck had ushered him from infantry to armory that he so loved. In 1965, he led his soldiers to destroy 60 Patton tanks, an unimaginable feat in the time these tanks were considered invincible. He lost his life even as he was targeting yet another tank. He was posthumously awarded Paramvir Chakra for his fierce grit and determination. This episode was written by Rashmi Kulshrestha.
