pitch perfect
this series was an eye-opening listen. its investigation into difference musics and the relation they have with popular culture and politics was illuminating and extremely interesting. One of the most enthralling was Leave me alone: not only the gender politics but also discovering Calypso Rose . The series was well-written and produced: essays in oral form. I hope there is a second series.

Music Makes the World Go 'round
Interesting, and fun to hear about various cuktural, and societal, influences through music. My favourite episode was "Home;" A tale about how a small music club formed a band and brought such notoriety to an underprivileged school.

Diverse but Consistently Interesting
This is fascinating stuff, everything from Cornish pop music to how a singer and her music came crashing into 1950s American identity politics. The stories were all interesting, extremely diverse and if it did nothing else it taught me just how little I know about the world's music. One of my favourites, even though some of the journalism in it came across as a little condescending, covered how French government attempts to protect traditional French music actually led to a massive explosion of the country's hip hop scene. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in stories about world music, some of its big personalities and how music has helped shape our world.

boy don't touch me
can't stand feminists. go swimming in the ocean, you run a risk of being attacked by a shark. vulnerable female walking alone at night, you run the risk of being attacked.
the world is how the world is, not how you want it to be.

Pitch comprises very poignant and moving stories from wonderfully diverse backgrounds. Inspirational for all musicians and lovers of music.

If you are interested in music, you are in for a rare treat. Each episode dives into another fascinating aspect of music, interesting political tangents, scientific surprise finds. Great storytelling and flawless production.

Interesting original presentation
I thought it was quite entertaining. It’s no masterpiece, and I was happy it was free, but I quite enjoyed it.
