Pret in the House

A mischievous ghost, pret in Hindustani, used to live on a peepul tree just outside a boy’s house. But the tree had to be cut down to widen roads. Homeless, the pret moved in the house where the boy lived with his family. Since then, the pret was up to all kinds of mischievous acts, troubling the family. So it was decided to change house. The pret too was pleased with the decision; everyone heard him chuckle.

Pret without any steam.

Great story. But to break the tonal monotony and get the kids engaged to these ghost story themes, sound effects would have made it complete.
