Rendez-Vous in Cannes

Been waiting for this book for weeks but struggling with the narrater, sometimes she is OK at other times she is cringeworthy. Still only read a few chapters she puts me right off the storyline. It is a shame because she has been much better than this on a couple of other books.

Update I finally listened to this book right through the story was excellent. Great story. However the narrator was really hard to listen to her accents fluctuated and were over the top sometimes.

Narrator microphone problem

The reading is key to an Audible book. I'm surprised this got released with the faulty mic/narration issues. Great story, though.

difficult to hear

I found the narrator difficult to hear at times, which was a little distracting. I also found the child's voice not pleasant. having said that, narrating stories must be difficult with the voices of characters needing to be sufficiently different from each other.
