Publisher's Summary

The Grand Canyon is wild and sublime, a thing of mystery and wonder, a place to grip the heart of a man and unleash his wild spirit. Follow Zane Grey as he recounts his true adventure pursuing lions in the canyon, roping them, dragging them from trees, and engaging their snarling ferocity in an encounter with the wilderness not even Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett ever attempted.

An example of amazon racism

This book very important piece of history... I have a copy of the original book. As a Hispanic with Indian heritage, I find it extremely offensive that audible totally removed the Navajo Indian out of the story... there is a one word that I have to describe this kind of people....idiots!!!

Would you ever listen to anything by Zane Grey again?

Yes, Zane Grey has a great track record for his westerns

Any additional comments?

The whole way these lions were hunted down and slaughtered was cruel and disturbing to read about. Did NOT like the book at all.
