Awesome sequel to the hound of Baskerville
The author has pulled off the seemingly impossible job of writing a sequel to the master's classic tale featuring the ferocious hound. What's more satisfying is the way in which the suspense is maintained for over a long length of the story.

Not a typical sherlock holmes story
The story lost me mid way as i didnt feel sherlock would deduce the way he did. Too many plot holes overlooked by sherlock just to give the story a surprise ending.

Absolutely delightful
Loved this story and the amazing narration done by Dennis Kleinman. Moriarty 2.0 strikes in the Hound of Baskerville-esque story.

The Legend Lives
James Lovegrove does more than justice to Sherlock Holmes. I looked for every opportunity to return to thus audio book, so engaging it was. A brilliant story idea to make a sequel to the classic Hound of the Baskervilles.
A must read for everyone.
And I look forward to more!

Baskerville ruined for life!
The story is too predictable. I mean, I found out the killer in the very first few chapters. There are many flaws in the plot. For example, Dr. Watson narrates the whole Hound of Baskerville story in a chapter as a reminiscence. But in the very next chapter, which happens within a week, he forgets about Jack Stapleton. How is it even possible? Holmes is not someone to leave loose ends. But he does that in this very novel. And the reason for Holmes's "not calling out the accomplice" is very very weak. Watson is portrayed as a complete dud, which he is not. Don't even get me started on the narration. The narrator does not know how to switch between impressions. I would be thinking that it is Sir Henry talking but suddenly I would realize that it is Watson that is actually speaking. It is all so mixed up in many places.
I read in another review that "Doyle is turning in his grave". I'd like to add "...with rage and pain" for his most popular Baskerville novel has been ruined for life. My advice to those who want to try this is, "Stay away!"
