The shape of ancient evil

A series of grisly murders rocks London. At each location, only a jumble of bones remains of the deceased, along with a bizarre sphere covered in strange symbols. The son of the latest victim seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes and his former partner, Dr. John Watson.

Horrible take on an otherwise scientific and logical theme of Sherlock. Didn't enjoy it one bit.

The concept is good. However its unnecessarily lengthy especially in part 3,and therefore you may feel lost,bored and find it tedious.
However when it works, the book hits the ball outta park.
