great series!

This book was not as good as the previous 2, but still a great book. I saw more of a connection between Julian and Dani and Finn and Dani rather than between Julian and Finn. So felt more of like Dani was in love with each of them, but Julian and Finn didn't seem to have the same romantic involvement. Julian was the ultimate dom and it seemed even people not in the lifestyle bowed down to him. It was great to see that someone could finally crack his rough exterior. While we do find out the reasons behind his persona, there isn't a very strong focus on his past and his emotions behind it.

I Loved it

This was book 3 in the Texas Siren series. Julian Lodge is a hot sexy billionaire who is also a dominant. At the beginning of the book he cuts is slave loose to another Dom. When he goes on vacation to a ranch that's owned by one of his friends Jackson Barnes in Willow Fork, Tx. Danielle "Dani" Bay runs out of her wedding to local redneck Jimbo with her best friend Finn Taylor running after her. Dani jumps into a car with a strange and tells him to drive. Turns out she jumps into Julian's audio R8 he takes her to the ranch with him. I didn't like her sister Val she was a spoiled brat who thought of no one but herself. Finn has been in love with Dani for years but he is too afraid to tell her that that he is bi and not just gay. Dani and Finn are both submissive and Julian see it in both of them he is use to having one male slave and female but only with a contract in place he doesn't have sex without it until he meets Dani. I love that Finn was protective of her. When Val conspires with one of Julian's ex Jeremy to get Dani out of the way first he puts a snake in Finns care a he get bitten. He also kidnapped Lexi who is Abbey and Dani along with Val. I loved that I got a Ian sighting. The sex scenes in this book were hot Dani learned to stand up for herself. Finn learned that it's ok to be a freak and Julian learned it's ok to let people in and love him. I liked that Ms. Blake went into Julian's past and why he is the way he is. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading about Lucas and Lexi.

This whole series on repeat

First of all, I love Lexi Blake. She writes the best menage and BDSM books IMO. Her character development is intense and I get so involved in every one. I have my favorites (cough Ian Taggart) but each book has so much depth.

Secondly, Julian is one of the toughest nuts to crack out of all her characters. Dani is the eternal love optimist and I can relate to that. Finn is a perfect 3rd that sometimes is quick to jump to conclusions but balances the other 2.

I do like this narrator and she suits the series with her southern accents. I love Ryan West so much (who also narrators Lexi Blake's Masters & Mercenaries series) but I think CJ Bloom was needed for the female portion of these books.

Texas Sirens Book Three

Texas Sirens Book Three.

Julian Lodge is the owner of the hottest club in Dallas, but he requires control in all aspects of his life. Taking a vacation isn't something he does often. When he decides to visit his friend and former protege, Jackson, Julian isn't sure what to expect. However, it is not speeding off with a bride fleeing her wedding. Danielle Bay panics at her wedding and leaps into Julian's car without a thought. Thankfully, Julian takes her to Jackson's ranch where Dani knows she will be safe. She doesn't want to call her best friend because Finn Taylor is the reason she ran. As the three come together, Julian finds that he wants them both. Maybe this vacation will become more interesting than he thought.

If you're looking for a redemption story with a hint of danger and a splash of denial, this is the book for you!

Ryan West should have narrated the whole book!

Ryan West should have narrated the whole thing; if he had I would have given the performance 5 stars. Both his male and female voices are excellent and committed to the characters - very believable. The other narrator (Bloom) sounded too over the top and irritatingly girly for the female voices and absolutely horrid at the male voices. It ruined the story. I am guessing there was a production deadline and Ryan West was not available to do the whole thing?

Wow

Really enjoyed this book. Loved how cold Julian started out and with some love came around to his soft side. Good drama that you come to expect from this author. Narration was awesome too.
