"Slämmology" zeigt Koslovskys Slamschaffen in allen möglichen Variationen: Dominieren in der ersten Hälfte des Hörbuchs die Balladen, so dreht er alsdann auf, steigert sich in atemberaubende Wortperformances ("Nittigritti", "Studien zur Topographie") auf Deutsch, aber auch auf Englisch (etwa "One Night at the Nuyoricans"). "Das Lied vom tapferen Spatz" verrät mit einem verquer-genial veränderten Nationalhymne den politischen Hintergrund der leidigen Leitkultur, dem auch auf der Slambühne nicht zu entrinnen ist.

The Word is not enough: Auf einem chilligen Ambient-Teppich vom Berner DJ TJ Signorino hört sich das "Sommergedicht" wie ein eingängiger Radiosong an. Ausserdem sind die Tracks mit Strassengeräuschen behutsam unterlegt — Hupen von Autos oder das Gehen der Fussgänger bestimmen den Groove des Hörbuchs. Vier Live-Aufnahmen dokumentieren schliesslich Atmosphäre und Dramatik bei Poetry Slams, wo Koslovsky in den letzten Jahren unzählige erste Plätze einheimsen konnte.

Da kann man nicht umhin, als sich dem Auftakt des Hörbuchs anzuschliessen: "Lehnt Euch entspannt zurück, schliesst die Augen und öffnet die Ohren".
