How should companies set strategies, governments design policies, and people plan their lives for a world so different from what we know? In Prediction Machines, three eminent economists recast the rise of AI as a drop in the cost of prediction. Paradigm shift to the way I used to visualise Data
This book is crisp, to the point and superlative narration by the author. It explains lot of things using data visualisation graphs and hence it depends a lot on the 93 page pdf accompanied with this book. Reading a physical or colour soft copy of the book might have been a better option but it might have missed the convincing voice of the author.
Bottom line is that it has changed the way I used to look at the visualisation and presentation of the data. The book opens a portal to represent the data in an interesting story telling way from the point of view of the audience. Thanking the Author for creating this book.

Very insightful and actionable
As a management consultant, I found this book incredibly applicable to my work. The book is extremely insightful, and does a great job of laying the foundations of persuasive presentations in plain sight. I was apprehensive about an audiobook version of this book, given how much it relies on visual senses, but I found the audible version almost perfect, with the PDF attachment very easy to follow along to - something that the narration has been modified to ensure. I would highly recommend this to everyone who, like me, has had experience with storytelling with data, but lacks a concrete and replicable framework to think about how to organize stories and design visualizations for maximum impact.

Great Author not for an audio book
I think this author is excellent and the book is useful with the attached described but this is a horrible audiobook. Although it is expected that a audiobook on visual is not going to be ideal the audio book version should have more descriptions and less please see accompanying visual. Then there is just a short description on the attachment forcing the listener to go to the attachment, not ideal for an audiobook.

Great for an audiobook
Obviously the material is very hard to present in an audiobook, but this does an excellent job. I usually do have my laptop open with the supplementary material, but it still worth getting the audiobook because I can do chores, etc and only glance at the screen occasionally. Highly recommended!

Not a good topic for an audio book
As other people stated, this book is not a good fit for an audio book. Audible hasn't yet figured out how to display graphical content in the app in a user friendly way, and this book is riddled with graphics. This rating is not fault of the book itself, but of Audible's way they handle this type of book.

Why do Authors choose to read their own work?
My review is based on listening to this book for less than three minutes. Her voice is so gratingly throaty and woke American, her pronunciation, rythme and reading speed so very erratic, resulting in the reading being confusing, and difficult to understand. Three minutes was all that I could take before, sadly abandoning the book on a subject that interest me.
