From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author J. Daniels

Author's note: Sweet Addiction should be listened to prior to Sweet Possession.

A sassy, in-your-face baker, a panty-stealing, dirty-talking accountant, and a bathroom quickie that changed their lives forever. Wedding hookups never amount to anything - unless that hookup knocks you on your ass.

For Dylan Sparks and Reese Carroll, the big day can't arrive soon enough. Dylan, stressed to the max from overbearing mothers and last-minute preparations, struggles to keep her sanity. As for Reese, he's fighting not only to keep his bride-to-be safe from creepy investors but also to make it to the actual wedding day without losing his mind in the process.

Throw in a crazy group of friends and a bachelor/bachelorette party weekend getaway and you have a recipe for the sweetest wedding of the year.

Reese Carroll and Dylan Sparks cordially invite you to listen to Sweet Possession.

Warning: This books is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

Where have you been?

What made the experience of listening to Sweet Possession the most enjoyable?

Where have you been J Daniels? I think I found my favorite author. Love the series so far. I love how JD doesn't drag the story. Even though it's a series their are no cliffhangers. Very much worth the credit or money. The characters all work together well. I've heard some bad books out there. This one is not one of them. I love the humor. The sex was hot. Yes I do say love a lot but I really did enjoy this book. The narrator was pretty good. I'm picky when it comes to narrators. I can't wait for the next one

Who was your favorite character and why?

All. They really made me laugh at times.

Which scene was your favorite?

This is hard. I really enjoyed many.

Like the book but

I like the first book and I love the characters. But I think that they could have gotten both these books in one. Because it seemed way too long for two books. So it begins to get tedious and boring. It also seemed like the friends really had nothing in common with each other besides talking about sex. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my sex in a book very much. But I think there could be a little more depth to the characters. All in all I did enjoy the books

Slave House?

It was a great book until they had vacation at a “large classic styled Louisiana house with 10 bedrooms”. I just kept thinking, “are these people fawning over how beautiful a plantation is???” They never specified but I couldn’t get it out of my head. Other than that I loved it and it would’ve been 5 stars all around if not for that.

A Significant Step Down From The First One

Sweet Possession (SP) is the second in the Sweet Addiction series. A string of books following the relationship of Dylan Sparks and her lover Reese Carroll. The first book, Sweet Addiction (SA), was surprisingly interesting and after the first chapter I was hooked. Upon finishing the first book and learning of the sequel I was initially excited to see the continuation of the story. That being said, I was also confused as where the story might head. In my opinion there just was not enough left unresolved to warrant a sequel. At the end of SA both Dylan and Reese admit their love for each other and Reese proposes. That's it, the ultimate question of will they won't they is answered. The conflict of the book is resolved and everything is tied together in a neat package that makes for an inciting read. Never the less I was still confident that J. Daniels would have a few twist and turns up her sleeve to make SP just as if not more interesting than SA. However, it seems as though my concerns for the sequel were more than justified. SP seems like nothing but fluff. There are massive portions of the book were literally nothing happens. The excitement and passion that enthralled you into finished SA is unsurprisingly missing in SP. There is just no conflict within the story. It seems like Daniels wrote this book from a standpoint of wanting to give the reader more of the same (probably because the SA was so well received). This produced a sequel that played so safe with the story that the end product end up being boring and a chore to read. As someone who really enjoyed the first book I suggest reading this book only if you are a extremely huge fan of the first one. There are some people who will really enjoy more of the same however if you are looking for a book that is suspenseful and encapturing like the SA then SP is probably one that you should avoid.
