Story
Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood . . . an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that?

Publisher's Summary
And then there was Bastien. Just looking into his eyes, Terri had to admit she was falling for him - someone even taller, darker, and hungrier than the other two. She was feeling a mite puckish herself. And if she stayed with him, those blood-sucking hotel owners wouldn't get her!

fun
Even though the book is as humorous as the previous books, somehow it did not grab me as much with the audiobook reread. I kept on loosing my thoughts while listening and could not get into the world. It's probably because the main characters lack the quirkiness and the snark the previous book's characters had. It is still a fun book just not my favorite in the series. I think I am going to skip some books and look for the audiobook version of the book about a woman vampire who is accepted by the town and one of the enforcers is sent to deal with her. I vaguely remember that one being fun.

It's Okay...
I know the main character in this is a guy but I wasn't used to the narrator being a guy, so it was hard to get used to. Additionally, it's more of just a romance and the action is very little as opposed to some of the books in these series(they have more of a climax and action). So it's not fabulous, but not horrible either, it's just "okay".

Toothsome!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I don't know if I would recommend the audio book to a friend but I would and have recommend the book/series.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the characters and the pitfalls of wedding planning.
What three words best describe Jeffrey Cummings’s voice?
Not the best. I only bought the audio because I like the series and wanted to listen to it at work but he's okay but not my favorite. When he does the female voices it sounds corny.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, but wish I could have fell into the story and forgot I was listing to it. When I listen to Kresley Cole's series narrated by Robert Petkoff you completely step into the story and blissfully enjoy it all the way through.

Very Entertaining
As a second book in the series this one was much more fast paced and funny. The narrator was so much better than that in the first book. The story was very good and fun to listen to.

Slow and tedious
This has been such a drag to get through I am writing this before I have even finished! The narrator is just okay, I endured him through Single, White Vampire but at least the story was worth it, but not the case here. This story so far (and I'm already mostly done with part 1) has been trivial at best, and downright lame! Such a disappointment. Bastien was such a great character in the other books. I had so been looking forward to his story. But so far Terri is dull, and the sex appeal is about nil. So bummed out. I would not recommend wasting money on this!

Hmm 🤔
I really really wanted to love this book but it was kinda boring expecially Terri she was such a drag.. I had trouble getting through it.. I guess I'm just so use to books with action, passion and excitement and this book falls short on it all..
The narrater to me was horrible he made them sound so stupid and childish and that made it all worse..
It's only my opinion others may like this slow paced not exciting read..

Narrator
Narrator isn’t bad like the rest of the reviews say. He’s a good reader, just not great when it comes to the voices he chooses. The woman sound ridiculous and then men are a bit off too.

Love the Argenuea series
Love these books but fell about laughing at the "British" accent of the couple in Huddersfield. A Yorkshire accent it was most definitely not.
