Publisher's Summary
BOOK TWO OF THE GALLAGHERS OF ARDMORE TRILOGY
High above the tidy village of Ardmore on a windy cliff, there is magic and music in the air, and #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts will help you find it…
A talented songwriter, Shawn Gallagher spends his days lost in reverie and wonder, oblivious to the wiles of women and the ways of the world. He claims that he’s content with his life, but his music tells a different story - one of loneliness and desperate longing…
No one understands why Shawn doesn’t put his musical gift to profitable use - least of all Brenna O’Toole, a fiercely independent tomboy who has been secretly in love with him for years. But it is only when Shawn gives in to the mysteries of magic that he gets the chance to fulfill his destiny as a man and a musician.

I loved the book - the story really is a sweet love story. The narrator is mostly o.k. but does have her moments of brilliance.

Tears of the Moon
I can hardly bare to listen to the narrator, she is so monotone and pauses so much, ug the pausing, it makes me crazy, it's like listening to my eight year old read. I have listened to the first two books in this trilogy but I don't think I will listen to the last one. It's a great story and she does good with the Irish accent but other than that the reading is just terrible! I hope that some of these reviews get to her, I would want to know if I was that bad so I could stop or get better:)

ENJOYABLE BOOK, WITH AN IRISH LILT
SEAN GALLAGHER WAS MY FAVOURITE OF THE GALLAGHERS, AND HE WAS WELL MATCHED WITH BRENDA. HIS DEEP THOUGHTFUL SONGWRITERS SIDE WITH HER INTENSELY PRACTICAL NO NONSENSE SIDE.

Not as good as the first book but all in all worth the listen.
I really enjoy the trilogy format even as predictable as it is. It will be interesting to see if my expectations for the third book are correct. The narrator has done a good job and I really like the Irish which helps to differentiate the characters and the narration.

See men have feelings too
So often you read a book from a man's point of view and it's wonderful to have this insight!
The two of them make a perfect match and you sometimes want to give them both a shake, but they get there in the end.
This is the type of book that wants to make one visit Ireland and go to a far off town and experience the hospitality and openness for your self!

Entertaining if predictable
The story is what you would expect from Nora Roberts' magical pen. Patricia Daniels Irish accent leave much to be desired & distracted from the story.

Not much Magic
you can tell it's some earlier work, I've read Roberts later stuff, packed with Magic; the Cousins O'Dwyer for example. It's still very good, but I was disappointed as I expected more magic 💔

Captivating
Loved it
Again another sequel that was as good as the first book in its own right. I can’t wait for the third book to find out the ending of the tale.
