Such a common sense lecture but no one can say it as Michele can . I wish to past this on to all my friends and families so everyone can be inspired by her wisdom.

Excellent podcast and reminder to set your expectations high from the beginning, except nothing less and put in the hard work in order to maintain relationships, flourish and become the better version of yourself with or without someone else.

True to her character

Our world today makes it easy for someone to act like someone they’re not. I love that she is herself and honest about her story and her thoughts.
When I wanted to introduce my mother to a boyfriend, she said “It doesn’t matter to me what he’s like. You have to find one that you can live with”. That thought stuck with me with every man I dated. I discovered that most of them were not someone I could “live with” until I found MY perfect, not perfect, fit. We’ve been married 11 years and are still together after lots of hard times. Hard times that some married couples would die of old age together and still never have to go through. It takes work but when you wait for ‘the one’. You have a best friend that you can get through anything with.
