The Fearlessness Approach
Any additional comments?
Having been through twice I have found this to be one of my favourites. This book can be picked up at any point and flows from then on. So does not need to be followed intently. Which was nice as I was listening to it while working on something else. The narration is monotonous but works very well for this type of book.
The whole concept of fearlessness is not wholly focused on 50 (his whole story is compelling aswell) but looks into many great historical figures and their use of it. From fear of taking what you want, to fearing death, it is all in there. The 50th Law was a hit with me because I could relate to the fearlessness approach. If you do too, then this will help you to push it even further. Also, if you are a fearful type this read may help you to break away that little bit more. Either way, just experiment with it for fun.

Fascinating stuff
Okay, I am wondering if maybe I'm being a bit of a sucker here - there are some valid arguments for slating this book - taking itself a bit too seriously, lacking humour, dubious connections to and input from 50 Cent - but nevertheless I found this fascinating. The ideas are so true - people tend to respect those who have no fear and can face people down; it is vital to be able to walk away from any deal you are not happy with; 50 Cent probably really did learn a lot of the "laws of power" on the street, and these are explained well here. The fault is in the slightly jumbled-up-ness of the book - Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power is slightly more focused - but given that I have played this through a few times, it rates as one of my favourites.

Intersting and Educational
Would you consider the audio edition of The 50th Law to be better than the print version?
Yes it is better then print as you have every chapter being introduced by 50 cent himself. His voice gives more meaning to the subject.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The 50th Law?
How you can change your identity. That you are not born with certain personality traits but they evolve and you can change them.
Have you listened to any of Robert Greene’s other performances? How does this one compare?
no
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
It's interesting how business focused 50 cents is and this can be useful for other people in business as well.

If 50 Cent was not a legend before, he is now
I like to start with the critical comments first. This book has somehow managed to turn 50s crimes into something that one must admire as great strategical moves. I think that is dangerous, because most people will not be put into such harsh environments like selling drugs in the projects. (I'm not even sure how he was able to say about 50 cutting someone's face and not getting him in trouble).
I think most people reading this book need to learn the lessons but adapt them in much milder forms. Remember that crime is not a desirable path and can lead even CEOs to many years in prison.
I had other critical thoughts while reading this, but overall I thought it was a memorable, unique and insightful book.
Robert Greene has found a recipe to success in his historical writing and has repeated that even when describing 50. This led to 50 being both directly and indirectly described to be similar to Napoleon Bonaparte, movie directors, segregation fighters, etc.
This made 50 look grander than life on several occasions. But let's remember that he's just a person that was able to make it big through hard work, determination and smart and dirty along the way.
I enjoyed hearing the book being read by the author. But it was very clear from his consistent style across multiple books that 50 Cent didn't write much other than his own quotes in this book. Would have been nice to have at least 1 full chapter from him.
But I don't blame them putting his name as the author to increase sales. It's the sort of book that 50 would teach you.

I very much think the narration is what killed this audiobook. That aside, the content is very helpful. Awesome, it is what I expected, quite entertaining
Where does The 50th Law rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's punching above average, definitely
What was one of the most memorable moments of The 50th Law?
An entertaining story throughout the book ties topics quite well together
Did Robert Greene do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
Question with regards to differentiating between characters does not really apply to this particular book since there's no dialogue to be narrated but this book is a story telling one, when it comes to introducing characters as a writer Robert Green introduced them into overall theme of the book very well (with help of 50cent I'm sure)
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Corporate or Street, principles are the same
Any additional comments?
It's a good motivational, and business orientated listen

Awesome but amoral
A lot of great information and motivating truth. I didn't like the amoral view of humanity though. I disagree that all humans are selfish to the core and never to be trusted or relied upon. I think the recommendation to use your friends and never depend on anyone is not a good one, both morally and functionally. In the hood it makes sense things are like that, but that is not good advice in and lot of other areas .. . maybe there are even ways to get out of the hood without screwing people over. I don't know. Worth a read but take with a grain of salt I say.

Only bought this book coz it was on a 'daily deal' but ended up being very impressed. Robert Greene is especially brilliant with his narrative style; his voice has a calming soothing quality to it. I just wish he'd narrate more of his stuff; all his other books are narrated by other people. A book like "The Laws of Human Nature" would be much more enjoyable in his voice!

Another Masterpiece by Greene
I first read this book 4 years ago, however.. at the time it was not very relevant to my life and what I had going on. Now, it held uncanny relevance to exactly what I have currently going on. Every passage, every chapter, every theme spoke to me as if it were the first time I was picking it up and has corrected me on my path. There is finishing a book and there is reading a book. Greene's works remain timeless for these precise reasons.
