Abrupt ending to otherwise a great plot.
I liked everything about the book, the story is great. Narration is very good. Suspense is gripping, pace is just right. weaving of multiple stories and timelines is great.
But highly disappointed by the abrupt ending. Intention behind such ending is to force reader to buy the sequel. After having read the book for so long, when we expect the climax to unfold, the story ends. I feel I wasted time reading it, even if everything else about it was excellent.

Fantastic
Love Christopher Doyle's books.
the intricate tapestry woven around Mahabharata, ancient Samudra Manthan, with modern day whodunnit twists, keeps the reader hooked.
thoroughly enjoyed it!

You can live without reading this
Classic case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I started this since I was interested in historical accounts of Alexander. And it turned out to be fictional one - not sure that secret is actually a secret.

Lethargic, Patchy and Boring
Story was elongated, Patchy with extremely bad narrative as compared to the other stories. Further parts needs to be simple in narrative and enthrilling

Chilling
Spine chilling fantasy fiction. Wish there was more completion to it. Some aspects of the story are totally unbelievable making it stand out as a work of fiction although epics are referenced and reader is made to believe things could be true. There seems to be a hurried end to the story.

Good story bad orating
Speakers pronunciation was English decent and looks bad on a lot of Hindi words like mahabharat.. Over story is good but really the speaker's efforts were not right

Bad narration with an awful accent.
All the Indian words were pronounced weirdly. Voice sounds monotonous.

Atrocity of a narration!
I cringed every time the narrator read the word Mahabharata or tried to read in a "Indian" accent.
The story itself is OK. A bit too much of unrealistic series of coincidences but not too bad to pass time.
