Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Publisher's Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The BFG by Roald Dahl, read by David Walliams.
On a dark, silvery moonlit night, Sophie is snatched from her bed by a giant.
Luckily it is the Big Friendly Giant, the BFG, who only eats snozzcumbers and glugs frobscottle.
But there are other giants in Giant Country.
Fifty-foot brutes who gallop far and wide every night to find human beans to eat.
Can Sophie and her friend the BFG stop them? Let's hope so - otherwise the next child a gruesome giant guzzles could be YOU.
David Walliams is a multi-award-winning British comedian, actor and writer, best known for the comedy series Little Britain, but his acting work includes plays, dramas and films. He is also the author of hugely successful children's books, including two illustrated by Quentin Blake - Roald Dahl's favourite illustrator.

Inspiring Goodness through Entertainment
Learning is always fun through entertainment. Especially when it comes to learning values that seems to get into children s mind without them even realising the normalisation process that begins there.

This was just as funny as Roald Dahl's other books
First the narrator (David Walliams) was wonderful. I felt like I was right there with Sophie and the BFG. The story itself was so much fun to listen to and hilarious. Not to mention all the funny weird words the BFG uses.

Beautiful narrations with great character distinctions. It created a child-like imagery and was very nostalgic for me.
