Publisher's Summary
Since the publication of The Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce Lipton has received widespread acclaim as one of the most accessible and knowledgeable voices of "new biology". The science is called epigenetics, a revolutionary field that shows us how the energy of consciousness is as important in shaping life on earth as DNA and chemistry. In this original author adaptation, Dr. Lipton brings his clarity, insight, and humor to unveiling a profound change in how we perceive the way life works, including:
As scientists have mapped the human genome, it has become clear that there are important aspects of life that defy our traditional models of evolution. The "missing link", according to Dr. Lipton, is consciousness. With The Biology of Belief, listeners join this groundbreaking researcher to learn how this new science radically alters both how we understand life on earth and how we choose to live.

A revelation in the last 10% of the book
I really liked the book and the story being told but I got lost in the scientific facts which were predominant in the narrative. the context really comes toward the very end. I would have liked it better if there was a deference to the conclusion in the rest of the narrative as well. Otherwise the book is excellent and very well supported by scientific evidence. The narrator has done a good job.

Very interesting and insightful
I had known the concept of subconscious mind causing effects on our life, pre-birth influence due to environment, emotional well being of mother during pregnancy and such, bit this book provided a very scientific explanation about why and how those influences make impact on our life. Very well written and very well narrated. I could easily follow all concepts explained although I haven't studied biology. I would strongly recommend this book.

Perfect!! the way to go.
The mankind has been looking for this direction of science that evidently proves the culmination, the free will that can disarm the karma(genetic code) of past as simple as that. This of course is a milestone in modern science though the eastern philosophy is way beyond this exploring the one consciousness in the multitude that is the real freedom.

He goes into what was previous thought about genes and protein and how our thinking was not 100% correct, then enters into how cells relate to every part of our body, so that studying cells gives us great insight into our brains and bodies. He then goes into our subconscious, how it can run our lives, and how to reprogram it. This is this man's life's works and is absolutely astounding. Basically, we can accomplish anything we want in life, and this shows you how.

Audiobook or speech?
Would you try another book from Bruce H. Lipton and/or Bruce H. Lipton?
Not sure, but maybe.
What other book might you compare The Biology of Belief to and why?
I listened to the Wisdom Of Your Cells before I listened to The Biology Of Belief. I really liked Wisdom Of Your Cells. My question is, is the Biology of Belief really an audiobook? Looking at a copy of the actual book, I can't really match up any of the text of the book with this so-called audiobook.
Furthermore, instead of being an abridged version of Biology Of Belief, it really seems just like an abridged version of Wisdom of Your Cells. In fact, I could be wrong, but it almost seems like it was Wisdom Of Your Cells...but with the parts that I really liked in Wisdom cut out.
My advice is to save your money and just buy Wisdom Of Your Cells. Wisdom is worth it, Biology Of Belief adds nothing new, and removed some of the best information.
As for the content, I have been listening to/reading books like the most excellent, The Field, by Lynne McTaggart. I passed on a lot of the material to a friend at work. His comment was something like, "This is all interesting and all, but what benefit does this information get us in the real world?"
Well, Wisdom Of Your Cells is the benefit it gets us in the "real" world. It may not happen in my lifetime, but I think that eventually the information that Lipton talks about here...in this SPEECH, is going to be applied to the medical field to develop treatments that actually help people instead of killing them...or causing more problems than the disease that got the person to the doctor in the first place.
Treatments like the machine developed by Royal Rife seem much less quacky after listening to Wisdom Of Your Cells. In fact, it starts to make more sense than taking drugs that mask symptoms, rather than addresses the actual problem.
What aspect of Bruce H. Lipton’s performance would you have changed?
HIRE A PROFESSIONAL READER AND ACTUALLY READ THE BOOK...or market BoB as a speech.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes, if it were based on Wisdom Of Your Cells, and not the much weaker Biology of Belief.
Any additional comments?
Save your money on this one.

Wrong book! Good content
I have read the Biology of belief and even have the hardcopy. So it confused me after listening for an hour that it was not what I had hoped for or remembered. I literally started from the beginning and looked page by page to try and find if this recording was just starting from a different part of the book. I am now sure this is coming from another book of Lipton's (possibly the wisdom of the cell) which is a nice surprise considering I already own the biology of belief. However its the wrong content! Still a good listen and great content... but you're not getting what you paid for... so be aware!

Body, Mind and Biology
Highly recommended read! Pure science at it’s best. Be forewarned, this is cutting edge advanced material and will be difficult to grasp for many if not most people. Scientists of limited vision will most likely scream heretic and unscientific when they find that they have to let go of currently accepted concepts that Dr. Lipton’s research proves to be incorrect. Science, however, marches on and in this case Dr. Lipton leads the way.

The title is very misleading, it should be Biology of cells
Well, I read so many good reviews about how amazing this audiobook is... Very disappointed, the author keeps talking about cells, its components, how proteins affect the receptors of cells, and just a few things about subconscious mind, subconscious beliefs, but nothing about how you could change them... If you want to know more about belief, read or listen The secret of the ages, by Robert Collier, and not The Biology of belief, you will be very frustrated to listen to this for 3 hours.... I kept listening to this because I thought something interesting will follow with all the good reviews the book had... But no.... Nothing interesting, only if you want to learn the components of cells etc etc. Returning it right now!

A Must-read
Stands up to many, many re-reads... or re-listens. Empowering perspective. It really is "all how you see it to be," and this book explains the scientific reasons why.
Joseph Campbell always said, "follow your bliss, and doors will open where there were no doors before," you always knew it was true, now you will know why. This book enlightens you on the inverse as well... showing the cellular roots of needless negative cycles and obstacles.
Invaluable insight for parents, teachers, coaches, and anyone else who is passionate about guiding others to achieve the heights and to learn how to live happy, productive, blissful lives.
Note that this is abridged, and you will want to get the full version, even if it is only available in paper. This is a very inspiring listen on the way to work, on the way home to your kids, on the way to the rest of your life.
