Keep them coming!

I love the Dan Riley series! The first 3 were included with audible plus and I was hooked so I purchased the next two. I can’t wait for book 6.

I really liked this series!

I listened to all five straight in a row and they were all awesome!
Each book had its own set of twists, and a suspicious set of characters.

My favourite in the series so far

I listened to this series in sequence and this one has been the best. I enjoy Weatherley’s comprehension and expression of people’s emotions and her vocabulary.

LOVED

This series is probably one of the best I've read in years.
The first few were free, and free one are usually a big disappointment.

Night of the party

Well at first I thought oh no this isn’t what I thought it was, but I didn’t feel like returning it and figured why not I’ll listen, and I’m glad I did because it was a strange and wonderful story well worth it I’m so glad I listened to the entire thing five stars is what it deserves.

Excellent in every way

As always narration and direction are perfect. Story by Weatherly has pathos, humanity, insight and drama, by all measures, above top rate. I can’t say enough about this series and can’t wait for another.

Brilliant as always!

another brilliant book, the only thing I would have changed is to have more of Dan in the book. This one focussed more on the characters in the investigation than normal I think.

Drivel from start to finish … hostile, a jumble of stereotypes…. None of them good

What a load of old rubbish. I see Ian Rankin (in the blurb) liked it … well I didn’t, not one bit. Saw the end coming a mile off. Couldn’t wait for it to be over. No more of this kind of thing please.

Fantastic

I Have binged listened to all 5 books written by Anna -Lou and Narrated by James Lailey and have enjoyed every single one thoroughly. Very different stories and crimes to solve love, how the story unfolds and how it comes to light how the crime was committed and that he manages to get his man or woman which ever the case may be. I love hearing about the detective Dan Riley's life and how things are progressing for him and how as his relationship grows with his new love Fi
Never forgetting his first love Rachel and how he is moving on after her tragic accident.
Looking forward to the next book cant wait !!!! cant praise them enough

I also feel that James reads them and makes the story come to life and he compliments the books 100% gorgeous easy listening voice.

huge fan
Tanya :) :)

Slow start

This is Dan’s 5th book and it got off to a pretty slow start !
I was contemplating giving it a miss but James Laileys amazing narration kept me hanging in there !
I’m glad it did because this turned out to be another thoroughly engaging story - like the other 4 before it !
