Publisher's Summary

What is it like to be known as Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's daughter? Or to have a mother as famous as Sharmila Tagore? Or to be recognized as Saif Ali Khan's sister? Or as Kareena Kapoor's sister-in-law? And where do I stand among them?

Actor Soha Ali Khan's debut audiobook is at heart a brilliant collection of personal essays where she recounts with self-deprecating humor what it was like growing up in one of the most illustrious families of the country. The Perils of Being Moderately Famous takes us through some of the most poignant moments of Soha's life - from growing up as a modern-day princess and her days at Balliol College to life as a celebrity in the times of social media culture and finding love in the most unlikely of places - all with refreshing candor and wit.

.

The narrator was good, made it more interesting. Just a small peak into soha’s life.

A good story but pedestrian narrstion

The book was engaging with anecdotes from the life of the Pataudis. The narration by Mary Joseph was atrocious. Wonder why they didn't get Soha herself to narrate it?

Very interesting read!!

I did not have much expectations from the book. I head the sample and liked it instantly. I enjoyed the whole book. This book is not about a star child, but it is a fabulous and inspiring journey of a girl. A must read book.

a good read

true to the title... a modest person's autobiography. well told, not too many complexities in life, hence not too absorbing. but good to hear a star kid's life
