Story
Edward Fasbender is a devil. He’s my father's biggest rival. He takes what he wants, and he bows to no one. And now Edward Fasbender wants me. I didn’t expect to want him back. Having him is not in the cards, not when a union with him would destroy my father. But that doesn’t mean I can’t play with him a bit. Except, I’ve never played against such a ruthless opponent. Edward is cold and vicious, and my blood has never run hotter. They say you should choose the devil you know, but I've always preferred long odds. Even if it'll get me slain.

Disappointed
There is suppose to be another book that is the conclusion to this story. I can't find it on Audible. I HATE books that leave you hanging. I am having second thoughts on reading any more of her books.

Cliff hanger
Beware of the cliffhanger! My wish is for authors to have all the audible books out at one time! When is the next audible expected?

Cliffhanger!!!! Story Was Great
I hate cliffhangers. The storyline and characters were great. I knew something was off as I got close to the end and there wasn't any drama. Very disappointed because the second and third books I can't get with Audible and the last two are $7 each as Kindle books.

Ends of a heck of a cliffhanger
Stella Gray is a new author to me. Narrated by Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York, they did justice to the storyline and I found them easy to listen too and they really brought the story to life for me. This is the first book in the Convenience trilogy and be prepared this ends in a cliff hanger so you have been warned.
From start to finish Stella Gray wove together a story that drew me in and kept me hooked. This was an entertaining, at times humorous story with secrets and was steamy.

Okay
I listened to this because it was part of the audible escape package. It felt like the same story as her other books. I hate that every time her female characters are about to stand up for themselves they just end up having sex and burying their problems. Also, there’s always something they are hiding and then get caught. Too predictable and frustrating. Probably won’t finish the series.

Too many plot holes!
This could have been a great book. Sigh.... First, I didn't know this was one of those "listen to the next book to finish the story" type of books. I hate those. At least come to a conclusion before you introduce more plot. Second, there were so many times when the male character did or said something hurtful, yet they keep going with the story as though it never happened. Sorry Stella, but women aren't like that and your publishing editor should have caught those holes. Third, each time there was a photoshoot and the guy does his thing, there are NO consequences which isn't real life. Fourth, how in the world did they go from horrible fighting to him making breakfast and taking care of her. Surely you could have taken a few paragraphs to fill in the gaps. Fifth, how can someone be so overcome with guilt one day, then not get it off their chest until two days later when confronted. *****Overall, I'm not happy with this one. So unhappy that I didn't even bother to look for the next book because I have no desire to listen to more plot holes. I'm so glad I didn't pay for this book and it came with my subscription.

CLIFFHANGER
I wish I had read the reviews before I listened to this book. My fault. I just looked at the stars. I hate cliffhangers. I don't usually use my credits on books that are less than 10 hours. I enjoy Audible Escape for shorter books, and for a lot of wonderful authors like Linda Lael Miller. If I had realized this was part of a series I would have checked to see if the whole series was on Escape. I'm not willing to spend my credits to find out how the story ends, as much as I enjoyed the story. I do enjoy series of books that can stand alone, and then the stories of the people continue in the next book. Building on previous books to deepen characters and story lines is great. Using cliffhangers to ensure sales of the next book is a cheap trick in my book, and it doesn't work.

Why is this not showing up as I already read it
I wish I could remember more, as I read it a while ago and Audible is not acknowledging that for me so I almost hot it again by accident, thank goodness I didn’t or I would have been really pissed off. Especially because what I remember of it was great narration but very predictable story that I couldn’t wait to be over. I didn’t even go for the next in the series. I truly hope that this will not be the case for all books read through the “Romance Package”

Is it a sham?
Fast paced, exciting and steamy, Stella Gray has another winning series on her hands! I can tell from this first book we are in for a fantastic ride. Luka needs to fix his reputation in order to make the family company more respectable. What better way than to get married? With his pick of any model he wants, he chooses Brooklyn. Brooklyn has been looking for her big break and several years ago was offered that chance in a quick hook up with Luka. Now is her real chance. Marry him and soar to the top. But could it be that easy? Talk about off the charts chemistry. These two have it in spades. Luka is definitely an overprotective alpha and Brooklyn is a smart, ambitious woman. Will they find out they are a good fit or is this all a sham? Leaving us on a cliffhanger that has us anxiously awaiting the next in the series, Gray has captured my attention and her characters have my heart!
Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York are amazing as always. These two have a rhythm that flows and the chemistry makes the story. They make the storytelling sound easy and the characters alive!

Sublime
The story line , the beautifully written alpha male with a golden heart the narrators ... very rarely you’d have a erotic romance that actually holds up a decent storyline without being super cringy .

The Sham
What a beginning for a series!
That cliffhanger though...
Brooklyn and Luka met 5 years ago but nothing really developed from it.
Jump forward and their second chance encounter is full of angst, anger but red hot chemistry.
Will their arranged marriage turn up for the best or will secrets and not talking come between them...
I can't wait for book 2 to find out what happens!

Okay but predictable for this genre
This didn't feel fresh as a storyline and that wasn't aided by this duo of narrators who often do this kind of story. I ended feeling deja vous.
This is an arranged marriage. An alpha character and also with a bit of second chance. Okay but predictable.
