The collective suppression of the divine feminine has led humanity to believe that there were no female angels of any kind, but as we start to re-awaken to the wisdom of the Mother Goddess, the veils are lifted, allowing us to reclaim our lost spiritual heritage.

A gospel, as ancient and authentic as any of the gospels that the Christian bible contains, was buried deep in the Egyptian desert after an edict was sent out in the 4th century to have all copies of it destroyed. Fortunately, some rebel monks were wise enough to refuse - and thanks to their disobedience and spiritual bravery, we have several manuscripts of the only gospel that was written in the name of a woman: The Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

Story
In this groundbreaking audiobook, neuropsychology professor Chris Niebauer explains how after decades of research on the brain, Western science may have inadvertently confirmed a fundamental tenet of Buddhism: anatta, or the doctrine of "no self". Niebauer shows how findings in neuropsychology suggest that our sense of self is actually an illusion created by the left side of the brain and that it exists in the same way a mirage in the middle of the desert exists: as a thought rather than a thing.

Publisher's Summary
"I thought that I had already thought about everything you could think about Love when Henry Drummond's sermon fell into my hands. My life changed a lot from the moment I read the words in this book and tried to put his teaching into practice." (Paulo Coelho) "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." At some point, all of us have heard this passage from St. Paul's Letter to the Corinthians. But do we really understand his message?
At the end of the 19th century, the young missionary Henry Drummond was asked to replace a famous preacher. Though at the beginning he did not convince the audience, they were soon captivated by his analysis of the words of the Apostle Paul. This sermon, The Greatest Thing in the World, has become a classic and is, without doubt, one of the most beautiful texts ever written on love. Drummond broke it down into the following nine elements: patience, kindness, generosity, humility, gentleness, dedication, tolerance, sincerity and innocence. Contrary to what we are used to hearing, the greatest treasure in the spiritual life is not faith, but love. No matter what your religious beliefs are, this feeling is, without doubt, the most rewarding way to live. In The Supreme Gift, Paulo Coelho adapts Henry Drummond's text, offering a real and powerful message that will help us incorporate love into our daily life and experience all its transformational power in our lives.

Love and what it is
Superior message and adaptation.
I wish I had heard this sermon back when I was a teenager. I guess I needed Paulo Coelho‘s reading and adaptation of Drummond’s The Greatest Thing. I can assure you that it will be a notable part of all my future Christmases and religious holidays going forward.
I can at least say that I have already arrived at the conclusion and belief that, above all, there is Love, based on my life experiences to date. We can all benefit from regularly contemplating and putting into action “the Rainbow of Love”. This is my rules of the road going forward.
Remember: There is no happiness in having and getting; only giving; Mr President, all you elected officials, and anyone whose heart is 3 sizes too small!
Thank you, Mr Drummond, Paulo!

Deep and Moving
A message for everyone. However the most profound life changing book I've ever read was," One Way Love: Inexhaustible Grace for an Exhausted World" by Tullian Tchividjian. I have yet to find a book on love that has been able to top it. The Author went through a personal crisis after writing the book but I say look at King David with Bathsheba and her husband (King David's crisis was by far worse ) and yet we still find King David inspiring. If you find this little sermon inspiring I encourage you to read "One Way Love"!

Wow. If only everyone in the world read this book...
Regardless of whether you see yourself as religious or not. Whether you believe or not. This is a must listen. Without meaning to sound ott it seriously feeds your heart and soul as you listen to it, and in less than an hour really reminds you what it is all about. What is truly important in life. I loved the way it broke down the key lesson/s of the bible into one simple message - love. No God fearing messages . Just simple anecdotes of how it can / should work in the real world. One of those books you feel honoured to have listened to. Very inspiring - infact I found it as inspiring as the Alchemist which was a nice surprise . One of those audio books you never want to end :@)
